I booked this hotel in December 2011. Stayed for 2 nights . It was a relaxing place my family enjoyed it here.

Our stay was between Christmas and New Years 2011. It's in Santa Elana, right beside San Ignacio. Easy taxi access to town. The rooms are very affordable, ours was $45 and night, and $55 +tax is as high as it gets. The restautant has great food (the fried chicken and lime drink are GREAT.) You can dine inside or outside. The people are really nice. The rooms are clean and stylish. Showers have hot water. Clean swimming pool. If your idea of a vacation is to spend as much time "outside" of your hotel room, and either in town or enjoying the Mayan ruins, then don't pay a lot for your room. This is a great economical place to stay. Save yourself $100 a night. You will enjoy the Aguada Hotel

During our stay and trip in Belize this was one of the stops. We were traveling with a family and were sleeping in one room. The fridge was situated a little bit strange and when you were sleeping under the AC it was a little bit cold.

The Breakfast was good but we went to San Ignacio for dinner. Martha's place was very good.

Nevertheless we had a pleasant stay at the aguada

The little white church across the street is totally Awesome - Bethany ROCKS!!!!

My wife and I stayed here several times between July and August. It is a nice place and close to San Ignacio. The morning staff are really sharp, but some of the afternoon staff are sometimes a little clueless. I was to meet a business associate one evening, but they were told we weren't staying there and they had no reservation for us (even though we were lodging there for two weeks).

The rooms we stayed in were nice and the food prices are reasonable, plus the pool is cool!
