Although this place is a bit run down in places, it is still one of the better choices in Belize City. We stayed in one of the tower rooms which was roomy and had great beds (select comfort). It did not have a full tub, which was disappointing and the air conditioning struggled to keep the humidity out of the room. The main restaurant has a nice breakfast buffet complete with an omelet bar and is very reasonably priced. It is located right on the water near much of the shopping area for the cruise ships which come in several days per week. The staff were friendly and helpful and the computers in the lobby for guests (free of charge) were convenient.

This is a very friendly hotel in a great location in Belize city. Very close to the water taxis and ferries, and in walking distance of town. The food is great and the home made juices are super!!Excellent conference facilities! Staff are fantastic and always willing to assist!

We lived in Belize back in the mid-90s before it had been "discovered" by cruise-ship tourism. It was a beautiful country with Mayan ruins, cave rivers and the wonderful, alive reef. Belize has managed to retain what makes it special despite the increased load of tourists going everywhere within easy reach and touching everything they can. Belize has done this by adapting and improving its tourist infrastructure while taking some care to protect its natural and cultural diversity and assets.

Belize City remains a bit of the Caribbean tossed onto the Central American. Easy going (if not a bit sleepy in the heat of the sun) and relatively safe. We stayed in the Radisson Fort George's Club Tower. The room was comfortable and clean with a great view of the sea and the distant cruise ships visiting for the day. The elevator to the 4th floor worked reliably. Service was first rate at the desk, in the room and everywhere. The pool was clean and cool with good food at the adjacent open bar. A little coffee shop made good coffee and had excellent pastries including tasty sticky buns.
