This is a super cheap concrete dump with lumpy beds. It is like staying in an old bunker. Our room didn't have anything in the way of luxuries, including a towel rack, toilet paper holder, fridge...It is dark, dank and dingy with sand everywhere. The overhead fans are extremely old and look as if they are about to fly off the ceiling. The only bright spot was the young man at the check in counter. Danny was super friendly and courteous. We enjoyed him greatly.

This hotel is great for the budget traveller. Cheap rooms compared to most other hotels on the island. Good location right across from the water and plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. If you get up to use the bathroom in the night though you will notice a cockroach infestation. We killed 6 the first night and when we asked to move rooms the next day and explained why the staff seemed completely aware of the problem and told us all the rooms would be the same. That kind of ruined the experience for me.

The hotel is a good option on Caye Caulker if you are looking for budget accommodations. We stayed for around $20 US a night in a double room on the upper floor, no air conditioning. The rooms are fairly clean, there is salt build up on the bathroom taps and shower heads. The staff were helpful enough, and there is a small courtyard in the front with a few hammocks and benches to sit and relax. The best part about the hotel is that it is directly across from the water (as most of the hotels on Caye Caulker are) and its in front of where the "budget man" sets up his food stand. $6 US for a plate of curry lobster with rice and vegetables!

I'd recommend this hotel for travelers who are on a budget but don't want to stay in a hostel. If you're looking for a hostel Tina's is the place to be.

it was very very good, i loved every moment of it! The staff are perfect and very very friendly. The food was a mouldy and stink a bit but apart from that it was a very very good trip. It was one of the best holidays i've ever had. Recomment to everyone
