The hotel was great. This was my first time visiting Belize. Ken, the owner, was a big help trying to figure out where to go site-seeing on the main-land, what to be careful of and other helpful tips. The location was perfect. far enough from the late night partying to get some sleep and close enough to stagger back to if joining in. Even though I haven't seen other hotels, I could easily make the Belizean Reef my exclusive place to stay.

Loved It!

Belizean Reef is right across the street from San Pedro airport. All rooms are oceanfront with a beautiful view. If your facing the ocean, first dock to the right is the Palms, second dock is Ramon's. Rooms are very clean & well stocked with cooking utensils. We would definitely stay here again...

Just stayed for Easter, and had a great stay at the Belizean Reef. I'll keep this short and sweet. Loved the place. The roof party area is great, and we enjoyed a good bottle of wine up there whilst talking about life. The room was wonderful; I always like having a kitchen, and it had everything we needed. A/C only in the bedroom, and that was fine since the breeze was strong. Cable TV is always nice to have for the kids. The managers, Ken and Virginia, were very personable and nice.

We didn't have enough toilet paper for the first day, but that was remedied immediately the second day, so no problem. The only thing I would find annoying is the amount of noise...but San Pedro is extremely noisy. I can sleep through anything, and didn't have a problem. Like all suites there, they are right next to each other, and you can hear people in the next building cough, talk, etc. Just the nature of the over touristy islands.

Overall, they get 5 stars all the way across the board. I'd recommend this place to all.
