The location is not bad, it's what's there that is. or more accurately what is not there. The room is an OK size, but there was no remote control for the TV, so had to stand below the TV and manually operate. As I am only 5'2", it was a reach. There was no mirror in the room, including the bathroom, faceplate missing on electric outlet, The floor is tile, but contains three different kinds and sizes of tile where repairs to the floor had been made. Only light in the room was on the ceiling fan, not even 1 picture on the walls, nothing to sit on except the bed. The much tauted restaurant and pool side bar were there, just not open; the pool was filled with debris. Oh, there was one good thing about this place, and that was the very nice young lady who staffed the front desk in the morning and if someone from one of the better spots on the caye is smart, they will hire her and get her away from that hell hole. This was the most expensive place I stayed during my 2 weeks in Belize and definately the worst.

This hotel is a scam. They took our deposit for our stay & the place is shut down. We went knocking on their doors & it was locked & closed. It is horrible. We never got a phone call, all our emails were returned, they have a bogus email address. The phone # is disconnected. Do NOT send this place any money what so ever!!!! You will not get it back. I am now contacting the BTB & Trip Advisor to make them aware. THIS PLACE IS A TOTAL SCAM. THE OWNER IS EDWARD ROBINSON-SCUMBAG. THIS IS A DISGRACE.

I like coconuts caribbean hotel is confortable incredible staff romantic place.....great food... oh em gee chef letty is awesome , margie is so nice ......I love the seafood combo ceviche is unique mmmmm so deliciuos thank you guys for everything see you soon !!!!!!!!!!

I did review here before booking, but did not believe it all to be true. The music just pounds the wall with bass. We where as far away from the bar as possible and it still was really bad. We had the suite with 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, huge living area on the 3rd floor. The unit was really large with great furniture but it was like the owner had just moved out and forgot to leave enough glasses and dishes etc. The pool still was cloudy and very uninviting. We even had a washer and dryer...but we knew that would not work and it did not..(tried to dry bathing suit before packing) We were told we would receive a free pickup from ferry and again no one there. They said they would pay us for the return but with a written email to the fact no one knew anything about it. The internet also was not working. They had said that a storm knocked it out but to all the surrounding hotels and cafe's all came up to my wirless only I did not have the code as I did not select them. The people at the Bar where very nice...I just wish I where visiting them for a beer not staying at the hotel. This would be a great place for a really younger crowd. We where 3, 49-70 years in age, to include one couple and one really young Dad.
