The location is fine on the South end of San Pedro. The place has potential and was recently bought by the neighboring hotel, Corona Del Mar. But the property is unkempt, the mattresses are literally on concrete slabs, and the bar isn't open. So the website is misleading. Fortunately, we only stayed there one night. We had friends who stayed there for two - and felt unsafe and unclean. NOT recommended!

Had a blast there, we were there for 18 days stayed in the SUNRISE suite very nice, lot's of work being done on facilities.

Stayed for a month. Mom staying for 6 months. Now owned by the owner of Hotel Carona Del Mar right next door and they are doing lots of work. You get all the amenities of the Carona. Free simple breakfast, free rum punch, free wifi. Eventually it will all be under one name. I will always stay with this company.

We stayed only one night at Coconuts, but wished we had stayed longer. We arrived in San Pedro on New Year's Eve 2010 and planned to stay in town that night and then head to the more secluded north on Jan 1 for a week of relaxation. We booked two rooms at Coconuts for our group of 6 people (3 couples) and basically expected to get something basic and not very high-class because we purposely picked something that was a bit cheaper for that one night since we'd basically just crash there after a night of partying. When we arrived, we found out that there weren't 2 rooms with double beds available, so we were looking at 2 rooms with king beds, meaning one of the couples would be sleeping on the floor. This really wasn't ideal, and Carla did a fantastic job of making things right for us. We got the penthouse suite - top floor, 2 bedrooms, full kitchen, nice view, huge common area - all for the same price we'd already paid. The room was very clean, spacious, and decorated very nicely. Everyone we encountered there was friendly and we had a great time...we really didn't want to leave the next morning and we'd definitely stay there again if we stay in San Pedro Town!!
