We didn't stay at this property but we did visit the restaurant. WOW is all I can say. Everything we ordered was beyond good. I highly recommend the Stone Crab claws or stuffed grouper. A little bit expensive compared to other places on the island but one of the best meals I've EVER had

We ate at Carpricorn for our rehearsal dinner the night before our wedding. The restaurant was outstanding. Everyone working their was cheerful and friendly, the ambiance was beautiful, and everyone loved their food! I had their featured dish which was a stuffed grouper and my husband had the stone crab. It was by far the best service and meals we ate during our week on the island. Our wedding planner highly recommended and I can't say enough about this place. It's beautiful and a perfect place for a romantic dinner, rehearsal or even a wedding.

We heard from a tour operator that the Capricorn served stone crab from local waters so we took a trip in our golf cart to check it out. We were not disappointed! HUGE claws cooked perfectly at a good price. Much cheaper than in the States.

We also loved the baked garlic cloves in olive oil with crusty bread.

The only detractor is the resort dumps their trash right next to the access road. Why not put up a fence to shield the view? Kind of detracts from the idyllic setting.

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at the Capricorn Resort in March 2011. We were welcomed by the owner and felt like we arrived to heaven on earth. The room was absolutely beautiful, very spacious and well maintained. Everyday the room was cleaned, fresh bottled water and linens were placed in our room. We had use of the kayaks daily along with the hotel's bikes. We made arrangements with owner to renew our vows with a local Pastor. It was a day to remember, they took pictures and made our day very special. The staff was very friendly, they catered to our every need. We hated to leave, we felt like were leaving family by the end of the week. We look forward to our next trip.
