greta place to stay was a bit abandone cause of the low seasin but it was still A good time staf were friendly however be careful whoo you buy snorkelling tickets from we got rorted 100 dollars hahah well you live and learn

GREAT place to stay!! Me & my family go to San Pedro every year & ALWAYS stay at the Holiday. It has awesome views, always clean & orangey smell of the rooms:). Service is awesome, we are always very taken care of & have made personal relationships. They are always happy to help with your baggage when you get off the plane & transporting you to the hotel. It is a safe place to be, there is a guard on duty every night, all night long. It also has a bar with great drinks & Celi's resaurant with great fish sandwiches. Also, there is Celi's Deli right across the street that has amazing breakfast. Also, many great bars & restaurants close by with watersports across the beach. I definitely recommend everyone to visit! Can't wait to be there in February!!!

Walking from the airstrip, this is the third hotel you'll see. It's priced less than the first one with similar quality rooms, and more than the second. Paid $69 for a good-sized 2nd floor room above the restaurant, with verandah right in front of the beach. Most anywhere else, I'd pass on SP Holiday Hotel standard, but the pickings are slim in the center of this town. Room felt sort of like a cabin in campout country. Rate included internet but no breakfast. Air conditioner muffled exterior ambient noise. Lock to door was so substandard, would have been no surprise if room was broken into. Safe was a homemade wooden thing. Staff ranged from happy friendly to downright rude and crude. The reef and diving is the only reason to be here unless downmarket vacation venues are what you seek out.

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and it was clean. However, it was extremely noisy, which I expected based on other reviews, but did make it difficult to sleep. Good location right in the midst of the action of the island, so no golf cart was necessary.

My problem was more with San Pedro itself - I think if you're looking in this price range one of the other cages might be better for you. For me, San Pedro was way too touristy - full of Americans, American hotels, American bars, and American restaurants.
