My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights at the beginning of October and if we had things our way, we'd still be there... The room was absolutely beautiful, as was the entire property - right on a great stretch of beach, sweet pool on the ground level patio, hammocks on the verandas overlooking the ocean, and the best rooftop view you could ask for. All the staff were so friendly and accommodating - their welcoming attitude and kindness added to the already totally relaxing atmosphere. We ended up getting to know some other guests, and had a fantastic poolside BBQ one night with lobster we caught that day. So much fun. If you're staying at Blue Tang, you should DEFINITELY book a fishing excursion!! They can arrange all kinds of activities, and they make it so easy... Take advantage of it! Whether you want to spend your days reading and relaxing, going on adventures, or exploring the night life of San Pedro (of which there's plenty) you can't ask for a better place to do it all then Blue Tang.

The Blue Tang Inn is a gem! We have been traveling to Belize and the Blue Tang for about six years and every year it gets better and better. We are always welcomed by the staff which is made up of the same people as it was when we began staying with them. The grounds have been meticulously cared for and improve every year. The pool is surrounded by a beautiful garden wall the provides privacy to the hotel and offers a variety of plants, birds and animal life within it! The beach was well maintained and a great place to enjoy relaxing in the sun while my children played in the sand and water. There is fantastic snorkeling within walking distance (if you know the right people to ask) you just might find it! when we weren't in the water, the local markets and ice cream shops were fun to explore. The daily breakfast was enough to tide my family over until lunch which meant that we were able to do fun beach and water activities without having to find a restaurant right away. Thanks Blue Tang for another wonderful trip!

For 15+ years the Blue Tang has been the ideal location for my family and friends to enjoy all of the great things to do on Ambergris Caye. Each year I find more and more that attracts me to continue to plan my annual vacation in this meca of culture, great shopping, delicious foods, and of course the truely magnificiant diving. Every dive shop has super friendly and knowledgeable guides/dive masters whom make you feel very comfortable and safe. I've been to several neighboring countries and other places around the world and I really can't say enough about the Blue Tang Staff, from the FREE delicious breakfast to the time I go to bed they are always so curtious and freindly. They seem to welcome me back every year by name which just feels great, I love the connection with my central american friends. Hats off...salute, can't wait to see you again next year!

The Blue Tang was everything we had hoped for and more. The location is close to the main square and has a beautiful beach within steps from our door. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, they took care of anything we needed. The rooms are spacious, colorfully decorated and very comfortable beds. The full size kitchen was stocked with utensils and place settings, which was nice. There was plenty of hot water for showers and the place is kept sparkling clean. Our only choice for Ambergris Caye will be the Blue Tang!
