My volunteer group held our 1st holistic health conference here and we're definitely coming back! The rooms were spacious and the location of the property is just gorgeous; the marina is just a few steps away and a swimming beach is less than a 10 min. walk along the shore. There were full kitchens but no pots or pans; a guest would have to bring their own. But the cafe, managed by the charismatic Chino, serves tasty local fare and special requests -- I enjoyed a delicious veggie breakfast burrito. We had ocean view and ocean front rooms that nicely accommodated single or double occupancy. One of the sofa beds was inoperable, but the staff responded swiftly. The conference room was perfect for our presentations and the coffee breaks and continental breakfasts were well stocked with delicious fresh fruit and delightful sweets from a local family-run bakery. It felt like a home away from home ... in paradise!

My 21 year old son and I had a great trip! The rooms were fresh and clean, the flowers in the room were beautiful! The BYC cafe with Chino as host was a great place to grab breakfast or an afternoon snack! Xunan, thank you for recommending the Belize Diving Adventures dive shop and the trip to Lamanai with Suya Tours!

We were in San Pedro for 4 days and stayed at the Belize Yacht Club, which is on the Caribbean about a 10 minute walk from the center of San Pedro. We had a 1-bedroom, 1-bath condo. It was comfortable and the kitchen was adequate. They provide basic utensils and will give you more if you need it. The reception staff was very helpful & friendly and gave us good information about who to see for snorkeling & diving & restaurants. There's a fruit stand across the street and a small, well-stocked supermarket, too. We used Ecologic Divers for snorkeling & diving and did a day sail to Caye Caulker on La Gaviota with its captain & owner, Luis Nuñez. We live in Cancun & are experienced water people and were happy with the activities we did. If you want info about BYC & San Pedro, contact Xunan at xunan@islandclubresorts.com. Stayed there for 2 weeks in March. The staff was very nice (especially housekeeping) The house keeper brought me flowers everyday. The landscaping at Belize Yacht Club is very nice and I think it is one of the only hotels with nice green grass. The bar is opened by the pool and the bartender had many nice and not so nice stories to tell. Overall I was well entertained and taken care of. There is also a salon right next door and I spent the entire day there getting pampered. My husband and I had a great time. The food, people and everything else was great. I must admit that the weather kept us back from doing everything we had planned but that was not in our control.
