I was disappointed to find no microwave or refridgerator. Seems like a standard feature that was missing. Hotel was older, and needs some repairs. The best part of the place was the staff. They were cheerful and accomodating. One issue, the day I checked in they withdrew a large sum of money from my bank. ($100 over the scheduled cost of my stay.) They said it was normal, but this is the first time I have seen such a thing. They said the money would be returned, and my specific bill applied when I checked out. I understood what they did when they explained, but my issue is no one said they would be doing that when I scheduled the stay. They took out their fee, plus extra that was "in case I stole towels, smoked, whatever" But they did it up front and without warning. Shady!!! If that is the common practice still tell me when I make my arrangements. They emptied my bank account and I had to scramble to transfer money for other bills.

Thank you for the feedback regarding your stay at our Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott. I want to personally apologize for the problems you experienced with no refrigerator or microwave in your room and your bank account.
It is only with valuable feedback from our guests that we can make improvements at our hotel, so we appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with us. Since your stay with us, we have put refrigerators and microwaves in 50% of our room inventory. We hope to have refrigerators and microwaves in all rooms before year end. We will continue to work dilgently on making improvements to the overall quality of our hotel.
