I have stayed here many times since the beginning of this year. Every time I stay here I am taken care of like family.

Bryan at the front desk has been a main stay for me and he remembers me the minute I walk in the door with a big "hey", a Big Plus when you are on the road....

The rooms are nice, the treadmill, the cookies on the counter all a extra.

All in all, for the money, This is The Place To Stay.

We arrived, tired from travelling and checked in and went to our room. The smell of mildew was overpowering. We went back to the desk and were very graciously given another room. This one smelled OK, but in the morning we realized that the smell of mildew had been covered up by cleaning product smells because my wife, who has terrible allergies, was coughing and congested in the morning. The day clerk did not seem to want to give us another room, but the toilet would not flush and they did not have a maintenance person on duty or even on call on the weekend! Our room was changed to our third room. After we had unpacked, the air conditioner began making a terrible noise that no one could sleep through. So back down to the desk we went. This time, we were given three different rooms to try. This time, we finally found one that was satisfactory. On to room number four.

I downgraded the service rating to average because they did not have a maintenance person available at any time on the weekend and the rooms had definate maintenance issues. The furniture, especially the desks and tables, were in very bad shape and looked like they could fall down at any moment. There were some bathtub tiles broken in one of the rooms we were in and this same shower also had a loose grab rail (dangerous).

On the poitive side, the hotel has a very nice complimentary breakfast. The desk personnel were very nice for the most part. The hotel and the rooms were clean. The beds were great and very comfortable.

If you are looking for a good quality hotel with a good quality price, this is the place to go. From the moment we got there, we were treated with the upmost respect. Also, the area was close to everything (downtown, buckhead, etc.). So, visit Wingate (Alpharetta), you won't be disappointed!!

Decided to book a trip to the Atlanta area last minute and received a really nice rate at this hotel despite the fact that there were tons of things going on Labor Day weekend in the Atlanta area.

The hotel is in a safe area, was nice and clean with extremely comfortable beds. No view to speak of, and no pool, which was a minor bummer, but overall I had no complaints. They didn't allow me to check in early, but that's hit or miss and not a negative on them.

Plenty of things to do nearby, restaurants, shopping, etc. Atlanta attractions are 20-30 miles away, but the interstate is literally just a short hop away from the hotel. I found getting to and back from the city quite easy.
