“Nice Place and GREAT Breakfast if you can get the cooks to serve you!!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 February 2012

Everything here was great - but whatever you do - do not loose the green card they give you at check-in or Breakfast will be an ordeal - we do not drink so we did not participate in the evening boose and snacks - I am sure it was nice, but the cooks in the morning kept getting things confused which did not help the customers and they seemed to be really concerned about checking to make sure you had a green card and that this card was up to date and when you werer checking out etc etc - I guess they are security as well as the cooks.

Room Tip: DO NOT lose the green card@!!!

Thank you for your kind words. I'm truly sorry if you felt breakfast didn't go as smoothly as it should have. Recently, we have been more diligent in checking breakfast cards due to some issues we had with non guests coming in for the complimentary breakfast and creating longer lines for our in house guests. Since your visit, we've made improvements and it's a relatively seamless process now. Also, please be assure that if anyone loses their breakfast card the front desk will cheerfully provide another one. We hope to have the pleasure of serving you the next time you're in Alpharetta.

“Above Average”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 January 2012

I would give it 3 1/2 stars. Hotel was clean & the girl who checked us in was wonderful! We were just doing an over-night "staycation" as a surprise for the kids, to alleviate post=holiday blues. The hotel has a big indoor pool & hot tub. It was an atrium like setting, so no terrible echo, like some indoor pools. The hotel was empty (we were there on a Friday night), I think it's more of a business hotel. Great location in Alpharetta, next to Northpoint Mall and tons of restaurants. The Suite was clean, comfortable bedding & lots of pillows.

The breakfast was so-so & the morning staff was not as friendly as the night before. The only other complaint was that the hot tub was due for a clean and some resurfacing.

Would stay again.

“The only thing good here is the free booze”

If it wasn't for Ken and Jonathan, this place would be completely worthless. Their rooms are aging quickly. I have been staying here on and off since 2008, I am mostly disappointed with Charmaine at the front desk. She lies through her teeth. I am a Diamond member with Hilton and I am embarrased to stay at this property. I have had many conversations thru email with Mrs. Skeen (GM), while she has corrected some issues, my problems with the customer service and treatment of guests keep coming up. I'm not sure if it is poor screening or poor hiring decisions, these employees do not believe in customer service, they are just happy to be there collecting a check. I am so disappointed, I am checking out early and writing to the Hilton Honors program with my concerns.

Room Tip: There are only 5 Special rooms, they have hot tubs.

I met with you the following morning and we reviewed your original reservation which was for a double bedded room. Upon check in, you decided you wanted a king room and we had no king rooms available. With no king rooms available at the time you booked or at the time of check in, it was impossible to meet your request. This doesn't constitute a lie on her part and I explained this to you at the time. We have always made every attempt to honor your special requests (and have done so on many occasions). I'm truly sorry we were unable to do so this particular visit.

“Excellent Hotel with Great Service!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 September 2011

This was the first time staying at this hotel and I had a great experience. Yes, the hotel is getting older and needs some items addressed, but overall, the staff is courteous and the stay was enjoyable.

The complimentary breakfast each morning was superb. The chefs that prepared the eggs and omelets were always nice to interact with in the morning. And despite what some people think, they have someone cracking REAL 100% eggs. The buffet had everything you ever wanted. I know we got some real food critics regarding breakfast but you get way more than what you pay for. The coffee was excellent too.

The pool and spa were good, but needs some attention as the jets in the spa seemed clogged and the pool was looking a little murky with cracks in the ceiling and floor.

The Manager's Reception each evening was great, but I never saw any management, only the bartender and some kitchen staff.

The rooms are great! Plenty of space to stretch out and enjoy. The business center is good too, but agree that the Internet should be a complimentary service.

All in all a great stay that has made this my favorite hotel in Alpharetta. Just a little updating on the hotel and it would be great!

Room Tip: If you are going to be using the sofabed in the living room, make sure to request a room away from t...

I appreciate the time you took to give us such wonderful feedback. I did want to make you aware that since your last visit, we have completely resurfaced the pool, hot tub, and pool deck and we have all new pool furniture. It's beautiful! I hope to have you stay with us again in the near future!

“Nice and good value, but ...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 September 2011

My pre-teen daughter and I stayed here fo a night in order to attend a concert at the verizon amphitheater about 2 miles away and the hotel had a package that included transportation to events at that venue. Hotel was very nice--typical embassy suites-- but the whole concert package seemed to throw their shuttle driver because there was confusion about when he would pick us up and whether their shuttle service was available after 11 pm-- and this was the reason I booked the package! Well we ended up taking a cab back from the concert to the tune of $20. But, the moment I mentioned this to the front desk, they were very apologetic and my hotel bill was credited $40. So it worked out fine after a little frustration. All in all it's I nice hotel.
