This hotel is clean and well kept, an excellent budget choice for the area. There are new larger chains in the area but for the price this one can't be beat. The staff is helpful and you can tell they care about the place. It's great for a late night stop while traveling but we recently stayed for two nights while visiting family in the area. It is close to restaurants and shopping. We always stay in the back which overlooks a lake and the pool in always clean and sparkling. Again, not the fanciest place around but good beds, clean rooms, good coffee and bagels for breakfast and a staff that cares - what more could you ask for at $60/night !!!

My key card did not work and they immediately sent someone up to the room, even his master card did not work so they apologized and quickly put me in another room. Great service.

I think the owners or managers may live on property. The pool area was well kept. Everything was very clean.

Its not a new hotel or a luxury resort, but a nice clean, safe place to stay. Its a few miles south of Avon Park across the lake from a college. I felt much safer here than at the main intersection of Avon Park. The soundproofing is good as I could not hear any other guests or the road at all even though my room faced the front it was nice and quiet. AC worked great.

A little weird that they did not have an alarm clock, but they do provide shampoo and lotion and bar soap. The towels were good. The bed seemed slightly hard but I slept ok, pillows were ok, I've had much worse but also have had better. Lots of TV stations.

Breakfast was simple - right by the front desk, lots of fresh hot coffee, OJ and pre packaged individually wrapped muffins and Danish. Not fancy but good.

If you want a nice view - ask for a 2nd floor room on the back which looks out over the pool and a lake. If you’re on the first floor you won't be able to see the lake due to the trees at the shore, but on the second floor you can.

Stayed here for 4 nights at Christmas when visiting family. Rooms are small, but clean. Beds are doubles which was problematic for us, we requested a rollaway, which was very comfortable and fit well into room. there is no hair dryer nor iron with this room. pool area very nice, set back from road, quiet and secure. breakfast was not good, we opted to go out to eat.
