Our stay was a trade through Interval International. I had read the negative comments after I made the transfer, therefore we expected the worse. We were so surprised. The place was great, very clean, well landscaped and very accomodating. We have been trading time share weeks for over 20 years and this is one of the nicest places we have stayed. We have been going to Florida for years so we were well aware that Avon Springs is not near the ocean or gulf. We enjoyed our visits to the non-beach areas, such as Lake Wales, Sebring and state parks. The restaurants in the surrounding areas were numerous. We would not hesitate going back to Signum Resort Las Palmas, Avon Park, Florida.

Awful Awful Awful - Unit populated by ants and cockroaches. Nasty stains on carpet. No staff to be found anywhere. Rundown and dirty. Pool freezing clubhouse desolate. Please avoid...

I can't believe this place is still operating under Interval International. If we had stayed our vacation would have been ruined. We stayed for only the first night we arrived because we had no choice, it was late and we were tired. Slept in our clothes on top of the covers and couldn't get the least bit comfortable. The first unit given to us had no window locks. (Questionable neighborhood) The second unit had no furniture and the third unit we were given was stinky and filthy, really gross. Anyway the next morning we left, found other lodging and only returned to pack up and out. Even a financial loss was better than sticking it out there for the week. There is nothing good to say about this place except the staff was polite and did what they could under the circumstances.

The place was filthy. First unit no air condition, second unit you had to fight the cockroaches to your food. The pool had feces in it and we were told to stay on the other side. Your next door neighbor is the local correctional facility. One waisted Vacation.
