Stayed here for a week with my family of 6. We had a two bedroomed suite with two seperate bedrooms, a living room/kitchen and 2 bathrooms. The suite is a little on the small size only one double bed (queen) in each bedroom and one foldout sofa in the front room. Although it sleeps six it wasnt set up to sleep 6. There was only 4 sets of crockery and cutlery on arrival, two towels of each size in each bathroom, we had to ask for more which considering they knew 6 people checked into the room this should have already been sorted. Also the dining table only seats 4 and there is only one sofa (seating 2) and a chair, so there was no way you could all sit down together.
two huge wardrobes and lots of drawer space. Ironing board and iron, kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, cooker and fridge freezer.
There is no balconies in the rooms which was a bit of a disappointment. But they were very clean and once the maid had realised there were 6 in the room she began to leave more towels etc. Fresh coffee/ tea making supplies were left daily aswell as a pack of microwave popcorn which was great for the kids.
The breakfast was in my opinion very good. Everyday there was something different to chose, there was a toaster with bread, bagels and english muffins along with butter, sunflower spread and jams. waffle maker with fixings. Tea and coffee as well as juice/ soft drinks in the machine. There was also yogurts, fruit, cereals and hot breakfast items to chose. Seating in the breakfast room was hard as most tables only seated 4 and was often crowded unless you got there early.
The managers reception took place three days during our stay...no manager in sight on any of the nights. one night they had one beer pump the rest of the week there was no beer at all only soft drinks. the first night was comfort food...chicken wings, tortilla chips, giant pretzels (well they put out about 20 to begin with and they were not re-filled) carrot and celery sticks. second night was taco night...fixings for tacos were quite nice. third night was bbq night...not a bbq insight but nice burgers and hot dogs all the same.
The swimming pool was small and several times we went down and there were no pool towels but it pleased the kids and was an ok temperature. The Mall as others have mentioned was walking distance..just across the parking lot. there were food places and a cinema in there. just behind the hotel was a publix, cvs pharmacy and a walgreens where you could stock up on loads of groceries and other items you may need quite cheaply..walkable in a matter of minutes.
Nice beach not far away but you would need to drive. lovely area. Would stay here again although i must just add..the communal areas of the hotel could really do with a good airing, it did smell quite musty but the rooms were fine.
