I stayed for 2 nights on a business trip in late January 2012. The hotel looks brand new with top-notch furnishings and everything you need to stay comfortable. There's a large screen (35"+) LCD panel TV in each bedroom and many fluffy pillows on the bed. My room had 2 cordless phones and a clock-radio with iPod doc. The bathroom was smallish but had a nice glass-enclosed, tiled shower with an exhaust fan that actually kept steam from forming on the mirror. The room was quiet and had a nice view of the beach. The food was pricey, as is all hotel food, but there are many other eating choices within a 2-3 block walk. The conference facilities were comfortable and clean. The bar was a great place to hang at night, with great views of the ocean from both inside and outside on the desk with a gas firepit. The workout room was extremely nice and overlooked a small pool.

I attended a conference here and enjoyed the conference more than usual because of the hotel and hotel staff. Service at One Ocean is at a Four Seasons level. Several of the conference events had food from the hotel, and this was not the usual chicken on a plate fare, we had a spread that included paella, sushi rolls, hearts of palm salad served in a cocktail glass, flan (a wonderful Spanish custard), short ribs and on and on... The hotel is modern, clean quiet and located on the beach in the laid back Atlantic Beach / Neptune Beach area. The hotel has an excellent restaurant but there are a number of other choices within a short walking distance in the quaint beach village. The beach is the main show and at low tide is popular with walkers, runners, cyclists and dolphins frequently visit just off shore. Oh did I mention that the service is excellent?

I brought my grandson and daughter here for a few days to get a little sun and ocean during the winter months. It is a great place to stay with great location and decent prices. Not the cheapest around but certainly competitive. It is extremely beautiful for the small area it encompasses. I could see a beautiful indoor wedding going down the steps in the hotel. It would be hard to choose the beach with this. And I had a beach wedding, so...
They did have resort fees but this included wireless internet, all snacks and drinks desired (good snacks too). Of course, some don't need this but if you do this is nice. The valet and staff were wonderful, espcecially after we drove up in a car with dents and the front grill missing - (a rental car - lol! - different story). They still treated us with top notch treatment The drinks at the bar were typically oceanfront bar prices but they are nice and will make you happy!! It was a nice two day get away. Oh, and it is close to a number of cute shops and great restaurants and if needed Kmart is just down the street. We got a pedicure at Fancy Nails - it was awesome and were offered service from the "Taste of Wine" next store as we had our pedicure. Very nice experience. I called the place the "Wine Spa".

Have stayed here several times and it's always perfect. We attended a wedding on New Years Eve and spent the night. Again, the staff went above and beyond to make sure we has a great time. The rooms are stunning... even the least expensive room... and the food is so yummy! The fact it's on the ocean is also a huge plus of course. Perfect place for an outside reception!
