I recently returned from a work-related trip to this Hilton, and would describe it as a solid, decent 3.25-star property (if only TripAdvisor would let me rate in fractions).
Check-in was fast, and the front desk staff courteous. The exterior and lobby of the hotel were in pretty good shape and had a pleasing contemporary design.
My room was on one of the executive levels, and had s similarly contemporary design. The fit and finish of everything was pretty good, with a few exceptions. The desk chair was one of them; it was showing its age (a co-worker in another room made the same comment about their own chair). Likewise, the mirrored closet doors looked like they hadn't been replaced when the room was refreshed; there was something very 1980's about them--and they bowed inward when closed all the way. Other than that, though, the room was in pretty good shape.
My sleep experience was so-so. The bed was very comfortable, but the room wasn't as quiet as I'd have liked. In particular, the air conditioner woke me up several times as it turned on and off throughout the night. There was also some noise (although not particularly excessive) from the hallway and traffic on I-4. I normally bring a small fan for white noise, but had forgotten it. I'm returning to this hotel soon, and won't forget next time.
The day I arrived, my sheets had a couple of spots on them. If those spots couldn't be removed, the sheets should be discarded. The good news is that I left the card on my bed requesting that the sheets be changed, and the next day they were (you always wonder whether a hotel's housekeeping really does that).
Interestingly, I could find no in-room safe. I thought pretty much every hotel had those these days, so that was a bit of a disappointment.
There was a note in my room saying that turn-down service was provided nightly, and two bottles of water per day would be provided. This didn't happen. The first night, I had put the "Do Not Disturb" sign on my door upon returning to my room around 6:30 PM, so I didn't expect the service. But the second night, I didn't--and I was out of my room until around 9:30 PM. However, I had had the DND sign up until around 7:00, so maybe they had tried to come early and skipped me because of that. Also, although I had drunk one and a half bottles of my water, two fresh bottles weren't delivered.
The room had a coffee maker and three packs of decaf coffee, but no regular during my entire stay. I didn't request regular since I got my coffee from the executive lounge, but it's the lack of attention to little details that make keep me from rating the hotel more highly.
Breakfast in the executive lounge was pretty good. There were a variety of bread and pastry products, but since I keep my carbohydrate intake to a minimum I bypassed these. Ditto for the "healthy" yogurt that--despite being low-fat--has sugar added. Some no-sugar-added Greek yogurt would be nice. Scrambled eggs and bacon were available, though, as was fruit. I certainly didn't go hungry. Other meals and snacks were provided at the conference, presumably by the hotel. The food was pretty good for hotel food, and I have no complaints.
One last issue that should be mentioned... The Internet access was pretty spotty. While we (I, my co-workers, people leading the conference sessions, etc.) had strong WiFi signals, Internet access was frequently slow and sometimes stopped working altogether. I'd guess that the hotel's infrastructure was overwhelmed by the number of people; I was told at check-in that the property was full, and I could see multiple events going on. Thankfully, I have a 4G cellular card and was able to provide my own reliable, faster access. But for the people giving presentations that relied on stable connectivity, this was a problem. Hopefully the hotel will look into that.
The price of our rooms was quite reasonable, making this a great value overall. I'd definitely feel comfortable staying here again. Which is a good thing, since I'm about to.
Room Tip: I'd request a room facing away from I-4 for a quieter night.
