This was the 2nd time we have stayed at this location and I love it! I used to live in Altamonte Springs and I feel like I am home again. The first time we stayed (December, 2010) we were in awe. We loved the size of our suite and all of the extras, especially the free breakfast (which is quite a spread compared to other hotels), refrigerator, microwave and desk. I enjoyed being greeted each time I walked past the front desk. I also appreciated being asked how my day was upon arriving back at the hotel after a day of shopping or visiting friends. The pool and hot tub were an added bonus as well as the internet access. It is definitely worth the money and I would recommend staying here but not while they are doing renovations. I was told when I booked my reservation that they were doing them but that they would be finished by the time we got there. That was not true and they were doing renovations right next door! Luckily, it didn't interfere with our sleep, which by the way they have one of the most comfortable beds I have EVER slept in and I own a Sleep Number bed which I love! We were gone most of the time so it was only bothersome if we were running late. I will definitely stay here again for the hospitality, location, price and extras! I hope all will enjoy their stay as much as we do!

I stayed at this hotel December 27 - December 31. The hotel is average, they are in the process of renovating and so it wasn't as clean as it could of been because of all the construction debris. I was on the 4th floor (top floor) it has been renovated and the beds and furniture is nice. The room has plenty of room. I was shared the room with three 16 year old girls. The breakfast was just average. Nothing to rave about. The staff was very nice and accommodating. I would stay at this place again because the location was nice and there were plenty of restaurants and close to a mall.

We stayed here over Christmas, it was nice BUT there are renovations going on that we were not told about. So drilling, hammering and banging started approx. 8:00am!!! I wish the front desk or the web site would of told us before hand. Otherwise, the room was clean and the the morning "FREE" breakfast was just ok. Went to Perkins right next door! The biggest plus to staying was during the holidays they still honored free cancellation of the room until 6pm the day of the booking. Most other hotels in area DID NOT offer that. If you cancelled for unknown reasons, you lost the prearranged agreement, the whole amount! ouch. Otherwise I would of stayed at the Hilton Hotel near by.

I am in agreement with most of the other reviews written here about this Springhill property. We were given one of the renovated rooms and it was a pleasure to stay in such a clean, NEW hotel room. Very comfortable beds (a little on the soft side), roomy area with a generous work space with free WiFi, a double headed shower! The only thing that I don't like about Springhill hotel rooms is their annoying airconditioners/heater which constantly cuts on and off....which is hard on us light sleepers. Breakfast is a nice selection of hot and cold items. We interacted with three different front desk personnel and each one was very friendly, cordial and helpful. We were more than satisfied with this hotel and would definitely stay here again.
