I gave this hotel an average, because it wasn't terrible but it really didn't meet Embassy Suites standards. I believe that the building had been owned by another hotel, because the rooms were kinda small and the decor was really strange.
My greatest complaint was the managers reception and the breakfast. The woman running the reception repeatedly questioned me on my age, even though I had my ID, and seemed disgusted by the orders of everyone there. The breakfast was the worst. All of the food was kept behind a counter, including the eggs, bacon, pancakes, and other pre-made breakfast items. The line to get breakfast was unbelievable, it took me nearly thirty minutes to get scrambled eggs (not a made to order omelette). Even more frustrating, and upsetting, was that the man running the kitchen was extremely rude and repeatedly lied to guests when they would ask for specific items. I watched him tell one man that there were no pancakes left, only to watch him minutes later take the lid off a completely full dish of pancakes.
I have come to expect a certain standard from Embassy Suites and I often choose to stay with this chain because I enjoy the ease and consistency of their breakfast. This hotel just did not meet that standard.

We strive for the Manager’s Reception and breakfast to be a stress-free, relaxed, social environment where guests can unwind or start off their day in an enjoyable way, so I sincerely apologize that this was not your experience. I am very sorry that we did not provide you with the level of customer service that you deserve, and I have taken this matter to the appropriate parties. I hope you will consider staying with us again the next time you are in the Orlando area, so we can demonstrate the level of hospitality the Embassy Suites brand is known for.
