We had a good time staying in this place for 3 nights. The place was quite and well maintained. The staffs were very friendly. I'm satisfied with my stay.

This hotel was recommended for a family affair. Room was clean, quiet, though the place was really crowded: convenient kitchen, pool, iron etc all the amenities; staff was efficient and pleasant, etc; no complaints. The breakfast was as expected, cereal, sausage, scrambled egg, etc. We wished we had more time to stay and enjoy it. We got a AAA rate.

We needed a place for one night while visiting family in the area and the hotel fit our every need.

Check in was simple and easy. The first night we only needed a room for my fiance and I, my sister and brother would join us the next day. We had a single queen on the 3rd floor over-looking the tennis/basketball court. The room seemed clean and okay, but there was a strong smell to me of cigarette smoke. My fiance thought it smelled of gas fumes, and the manager who came by the next morning said it smelled musty but couldn't place it. We tried to change rooms the first nite but were told they were fully booked for a wedding. Unbelievable that in the middle of nowhere this tiny hotel was fully booked! We slept with the windows open. Breakfast was the usual average, though I am a sucker for the make your own waffle station. There were plenty of employees running around keeping the breakfast stations stocked and clean. The manager was kind enough to move us (and family who came the next day) to a two bedroom suite with fireplace that smelled of absolutely nothing. I was very satisfied. Had this not happened I would have booked a room at another hotel. I must say that I did meet with family who stayed at a different hotel in nearby Torrington, and am so glad I didn't stay with them. Also, the rooms were well stocked with dishes, glasses, and even pots and pans if needed, though we didn't use them. Dakota's steakhouse nearby was good.
