Relocating to Denver from another part of Colorado for work. Needed a room for a week until I got myself settled into Denver. The first room I was put in was filthy, shower didn't work, shower rod only was being held up by the small edge of the tile on the wall. It was obvious that the door to the room had recently been kicked in. All the hardware on the door was brand new and was just obvious that it has recently happened. The second room was just as dirty, smelled badly of smoke. Obvious water leakage in the ceiling in the room, this was also new, because as the week went along, the patch started to crack and fall apart. Also, while in the room for the week, there was a major water leaking in the bathroom ceiling. Hug bubble all of a sudden showed up, had to puncture it to drain it. Bathroom was old and filthy. Tiles in the shower old, moldy in the gaps, obviously no one has tried to clean, beyond just wiping down. Tub again, was filthy. No attempt to clean other then to just wipe down.

Fixtures were destroyed or unusable. They had a lamp in the middle of the room with maybe a 5 inch shade that was stained, bent... Really... I should have taken a picture.

Told staff that I worked over nights and would be sleeping during the day, so I wouldn't need housekeeping during the day. I said that if I needed anything, I would let the desk know, and go from there. Was woken up every day by house keeping.

Believe it or not, the bed was very comfortable. So at least my sleep was restful.

Most horrible dirty disgusting place I've ever seen in my life. The staff was suspect, it was sad. It was our first time in Colorado. We were planning on moving to the Denver area, (still am), and wanted to really check every inch of the town out. But....out of all the beauty, this was soooooo horribly bad. Bed sheets dirty, not washed once in the 9 days we were there. Cigarette burns in carpet and bed spread, stains on the mattress, the ac/heater was loud and sucked completely. The bathroom was so tiny and filthy. The towels they give you barely covered my 5 year old. Coffee maker broken, blow dryer broken, it seemed like the "guests" were actually living there, it was nasty. Never again never ever again. CLOSE IT DOWN.

This is one of the filthiest motels I have ever stayed at. There was trash and an empty roll of toilet paper behind the door that was missed by the cleanup crew. There were cigarette buds on the carpet by the bed and the sheets had burn holes. The room definitely needed to be updated. The surrounding area was nice, stores were in walking distance, etc., too bad it was so bad. Will not stay here again...

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!! By far the most nasty, dirty, unkept, Motel we have ever encountered. The sheets did not fit, no hair dryer, toilet seat was broken, bathroom door knob was loose and broken, we had a "non somking room" that reaked of tobacco (or what ever), the AC was so loud we could hardly sleep, carpets were dirty, towels smelled as if they had been dipped in oil or for sure not washed properly, masking tape to replace the grout in the bathroom, this place is in need of repairs (maybe torn down), THIS PLACE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN AND THEN TORN DOWN. The corporate head quarters should be aware of this. Based on our experience I will NEVER stay at a Motel 8 AGAIN. Beware and stay away from here. The BBB will be notified of this Motel.
