We have stayed at this hotal many times because it's location is convenient to University Hospital. There have been some upgrades recently including new beds and linens, and new door locks to get away from those plastic cards with the punched holes. Those are significant improvements. But the doors to the rooms are pretty shabby and don't fit well allowing cold air to enter the room, and our door looked like it had been kicked in and then patched and repainted, and it was poorly done. The bathrooms are fine, but the towels are old, thin, and scratchy from multiple washings, and need to be replaced. Also there was a snowstorm 2 days before our arrival, but the back driveway was not plowed, and the parking spaces were very poorly cleared. They simply have to do better with this issue as it was unsafe to walk, much less with suitcases. On the plus side, the hotel is well located for access to a good choice of nice restaurants, and is a good value for the price.
