“God help me!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 December 2011

I am staying here right now and I am literally in fear for my life. Both of my neighbors are constantly arguing. I don't dare fall asleep in a place like this. The floor is filthy. Do not ever stay here unless you have no choice. Definitely do not bring children here. You won't be able to afford the therapy to cure them of their nightmares.

Room Tip: It won't matter.

“Never Again”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 December 2011

I just checked out of this hotel. I stayed ther for two weeks and was not impressed at all. The side of the building I stayed on was supposed to be all non-smoking but could smell cigarette smoke in my room from other units. The fire alarms went off twice in two days in the middle of the night because of tenants cooking and openeing the door to let smoke out. I needed to use a broom or vacuum and asked to borrow one. Jon the manager stated the do let people use there brooms or vacuums becasue he had to spend $500 to get items out of pawn in the past. REALLY?? What kind of vacuums could a place like this have? He runs this pplace like a halfway house rather than a hotel. They provide nothing in ammenities such as coffe maker, plates, pots, pans, utencils. I had to buy pillows becasue the ones that were in the roomwere flat as pancakes. Will use other accomadations at this point even if it means more money.

“small noisy rooms”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 October 2011

I had never been to denver so I called this place and asked how much and their closeness to downtown denver. The manager i spoke to said they were close to downtown ( They're not - it's a 45 minute bus ride to downtown) and that there were 2 types of rooms -$189 + $199. The $199 being larger. I thought I made a reservation but apparently not. When I got there the manage said there were only 2 rooms left both $199. I chose one on the 1st floor and was very disappointed. It was very small (about 425 sq ft) and noisy. I could hear conversations between people on either side of my SMALL room and the floor would creak very loudly when the person above me would walk around ( alll hours of the day or night). If this $199 room was the larger I can't imagine what the $189 room was like. There were definately inconsistencies in what I was told over the phone and the reality.
Like so many places these days the place looks nice from the outside but the rooms were not up to par. The full size bed had a noticeable crease in the center and all the other furnishings (table, tv etc.) were obviously as cheap as the owners could buy. The appropriate price for this place even in this inflation ridden world we live in would have been $129 per week. WAY OVERPRICED FOR WHAT YOU GET and don't trust what the managment says. They're obviously sales people out to feather their own nest - NOT YOURS!

“NIGHTMARE”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 June 2011

My wife and i staye there for 1 month and it was a disaster. John the Manager is probably the worst person EVER to manage anything. John was very rude and had no apologies for anything. So many bad experiences but i will tell u the worst. My wife and i took the garbage downstairs and placed it in a Garbage Can downstairs. I must remind you that we were coming from the 3rd floor. When we arrived from the Supermarket with 15 bags of groceries the smelly garbage bag was in front our room with a note saying that we place the garbage in the wrong bin. He took the time to bring the smelly bag back to the 3rd floor. When i confronted him with it he said it was not him when clearly the not said Management and the live in handyman said it was JOHN. I would definitely recommend paying more for a good Hotel where the staff and Management are more curtious.

“not a good choice”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 January 2010

I stayed for a week, but in retrospect would have rather paid a bit more and stayed at a motel 6. I had to buy air spray to take the odor out of the air after checking in This is as much of a suite as a vw bug is a limo. Rooms are small, and have a tiny micrcrowave, tv and refrigerator. Rooms were not filthy, no bugs, but not clean either. They do a once over cleaning between guests, change sheets, etc but the room really needed a deep cleaning, especially the bathroom. The room includes a roll of toilet paper and two small towels. You are responsible for everything else. There is no toaster, coffee maker, etc. The first night was fairly noisy with constant shouting in foreign languages in the hallways- otherwise quiet enough. Be prepared for unexpected outages- one day the power was out for several hours...on another the water was out for several hours while the mechanic worked. There is no advance warning given. Beds are not comfortable- you don't want to sleep on your back. It has a laundry room which is handy. At first I thought it was overpriced ,$1 for a dryer load, however was pleased to find the machines have moisture sensors, so I got over an hour from the dryer vs typical 8-10 minutes. I guess that's about it for the positives besides of the reasonable rate.

SpacePilot 500 - We are glad you found the low rates and the laundry facility to be a positive aspect of your stay. However, we certainly regret to hear that other things did not meet your expectations.

While we are indeed limited service, we pride ourselves on offering our guests exceptionally clean rooms and a quiet, comfortable location. We will investigate the issues you describe and address them ASAP.

If you are ever in need of an economy extended stay in the future (we have 138 locations), we would welcome the opportnity for a second chance.
