Aspen isn't cheap, and compared to other towns, you may not consider a $200+/night hotel cheap, but Molly Gibson is very reasonably priced for the area, especially when you consider the service they offer.
1) quite good breakfast
2) nice apres-ski snacks and beer/wine
3) nice heated pool and good jacuzzi
4) free DVD loaners for you to watch in your room
5) free wireless internet
6) free pickup/dropoff from the airport (in my case, they nicely came to pick me up from elsewhere in Aspen since I had a bit of luggage to lug across the streets)
7) they're 10mn on foot (less on bus but not worth waiting for it) from Aspen Mountain
8) free busses to Highlands/Buttermilk/Snowmass are across the street (less than 1mn)
9) The king room I had was fantastic: big room, huge indoor tub with jets (although I just used the jacuzzi outside).

We were impressed from the minute we arrived @ the Aspen airport. Within minutes, the hotel shuttle arrived to pick us up. After a quick hiccup in room assigning, we were given a king room w/ a jacuzzi. It was perfect. We learned they had "apres ski" snacks & drinks daily 430-6 pm. We thought it'd be chips & cheap wine. We were pleasantly surprised...they had soup, fruit, bread, hot dogs, veggies, wine & beer! All inclusive. We also were surprised the breakfast was real! (Not just cereal). Eggs, bacon, waffles, cereal, yogurt, bagels, meats & cheeses. The location is ideal & within walking distance ofeverything. The staff was so helpful with giving recommendations & directions. They even called our next destination for us to get us some more info. The bus stops for all 4 mtns are right outside the lodge. And those are free! One night, we rented (free) movies from the front desk& also learned you can get wine for $15 a bottle from the front desk too! The view fromthe hotel is breathtaking, location is quiet & centrally located. Staff is great, amenities are unmatchable. We will be staying here again & recommending it to others!

Molly Gibson is a great place to stay. The people are so very friendly and helpful, and you are close to all the fun places to eat, go out, and ski. There is an excellent apres ski too. The people really make this place the best -- they really care about their guests.

Clean room, nice linens, wood burning fireplace was pleasant and they provided wood and fire starter which was quite nice. Room was spacious, plenty of hot water quiet location, close to the bus route very easy to catch a bus to the slopes and waling distance to everything in the town, pool was nice, and the hot tub was nicer, lovely to sit in the hot tub with snow coming down! Breakfast was a nice inclusion, enjoyed it cereal eggs muffins bagels loads of choice, the apres ski treat from 4 to 6pm was nice, beer was limited to a dark beer which was not of my liking but thats me, as a suggestion they should offer a lighter beer as well wine red and white nicely done, The front desk staff we very nice and helpful the staff maintaining the food area were awesome
