“Total Aspen Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 February 2012

The Limelight Lodge delivers exceptional customer service. Drivers pick you up and deliver you to the airport, the ski hills at any of the 4 mountains, pick you up and take you to dinner. Our skis missed the connecting flight and the driver went back later to the airport and retrieved our skis and bag in time for skiing the next day. The hotel is close to all of the best eating/drinking spots in town. The rooms are modern, quiet, large and have every amenity including a gas fireplace. The bathroom in our superior room was huge and had a huge soaker tub, walk-in shower and a seperate water closet (toilet). The hot tubs and pool are clean and well maintained. Live entertainment in the bar (5 nights a week) and an extended happy hour with great wines at reasonable prices makes for a fabulous apres ski experience. They have the best pizza in town as well. All of this magnificence does not come cheap, but if you are looking for an unforgettable pampered Aspen experience, the Limelight Lodge won't disappoint.

“Solid Choice in Aspen”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 February 2012

This is a great higher-end lodging choice in downtown Aspen. While it doesn't have all the elegance and glitz (and prices) of the Little Nell and some others, the Limelight is an upper tier option with full service and a great location. Everything in downtown Aspen is only 1-4 blocks away, including Ajax.

The lodge is new and beautiful. Everything worked and was in great condition. The ski boot dryers in the locker was a nice touch.

Key features are: 2 outdoor hot tubs, good fitness facility, great and free breakfast buffet, free airport and ski hill transporation, ski storage and a comfortable bed/room.

Room Tip: The lowest end room choice doesn't include frig or microwave. Avoid rooms near the lobby if pos...

“Totally worth it!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

The location is great! 5 min walk to the lift for Aspen and there are busses that stop around the corner for the other mountains. We got upgraded for a room with a fireplace and it was amazing. Jacuzzi was really nice and we tryly enjoyed glass of wine right after skiing w/ some appetizers. It was a great way to meet other guests in the hotel. Breakfast was also very good. You can buy your ski passes in the hotel so you dont waste time on the slopes.

Room Tip: Get a room with fireplace.

“Second Year We've Stayed There, And We'll Be Back.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 January 2012

The location, price, staff, size of rooms make this hotel the perfect place to stay when you're in Aspen. Just minutes from the slopes, restaurants, shopping, and any other venue you would want to enjoy for skiing or summer time.

Room Tip: We have stayed in the rooms overlooking the pool/spa or the town/mountains and I prefer the town vie...

“Good value but not luxe”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 January 2012

This property is fine- but noting spectacular. While they do a lovely job with comfortable beds, nice thread count and location, it is very "entry level" in all other respect - ok, but nothing to write home about.
