“Perfect family experience!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 November 2010

Have been going to Aspen for 7 years and always stay at the Aspen Alps. Perhaps the single best location for a condo-hotel in Aspen. Excellent customer service and well appointed units. The management team is first class. There are spacious rooms, a car service, internet, workout and spa facilities, heated pool, and tennis courts. You are steps away from the Little Nell and Skyy hotels for all the comforts of fine dining and amenities you may need. We have a blast with our 8 year old son since the Aspen Alps have some green belt spaces, and there are several nearby parks. In the winter, it is ski-in and right by the gondola, and in the summer it is in the center of town for walking to most any venue. Very family friendly for sure.

“Great Location, Some Food for Thought”

This is a terrific ski-in ski-out option adjacent to the Gondola with lots of nice amenities. Units are all very nicely furnished and appointed (at least the few we saw). Here's a few of the tradeoffs we observed:

The complex is big, and climbs the hill. Seven or eight separate buildings from street level to a few hundred vertical feet above that. You can stay up higher, and have true ski in/out, or down lower and have to walk a bit to the 'dola.

Units higher up on the hill are further from the pool/hot tub and work out center, but quieter. The SKYY hotel is very close to the lower units and apres ski is a loud affair there.

If you stay up higher, the staff is more than happy to shuttle you up and down the hill, or you can certainly walk anywhere you want to go, but the latter option might be a little bit of a challenge if there is a deep snow cover or if slippery conditions exist. If you stay in the lower units, you are right on Durant and can crawl to anywhere you may desire.

“Best location and service in town!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 May 2010

Have been going to the Alps (that's how we call it) for the past 15 years. They have by far the best location in Aspen and also a very friendly staff. Things got even better for the past couple of years with the new manager. Besides that, the units are very comfortable, and they have a great spa, with an outdoor pool and excellent exercise room. Can't get a better value for your money.

“Skiing is hard enough, don't make it any harder by staying anywhere else!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 January 2010

The Aspen Alps Condos are in the perfect position and if you ask for the right condo it can be "ski in and out".
I am lucky enough to stay at the Aspen Alps for work as I am a nanny of 4 children. The best feature is that you have a kitchen so if you are too tired after a day skiing, you can cook for yourself and stay in.
The condos are cleaned well daily and the staff or so happy to help with anything, be it reservations or any other daily things that might come up.
I tell all my friends to stay here every year when they go skiing as well as it is in such a great location.
As ia stay there for work, I can not comment of value.

“Best choice in Aspen”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 December 2009

We stayed at the Aspen Alps with my friends and family for our annual ski trip. We have never stayed in Aspen before and chose the Aspen Alps as came highly recommended by friends familiar in the area. The condominiums at the Aspen Alps are located immediately by the ski slope "Ajax" and two blocks from the down town area. The management is excellent; their attention to detail and professionalism exceeded my expectations. We were picked up at the airport and had our groceries stocked in the condominium at the check in. Their condos are individually decorated and we really had the feeling of a home away from home.
