“A Perfect Night in Aspen”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 February 2012

We had a wonderful night stay at the Hotel Aspen. The staff was very accommodating and got us into our room at 1pm with no problem, 3 hours before check-in time! I reserved the Jacuzzi suite with the private hot tub, and we only left it twice to dine. The view from the hot tub was amazing, as we enjoyed watching the skiers during the day and staring above at the beautiful stars all night. The hotel room was nice and the bed quite comfortable. Our room had high ceilings which just gave it that much more charm. The hotel has been renovated recently, and its dated exterior does not do justice to the fantastic interior of the room. Located right downtown, we were only a short walk from anything we needed in town. Thank you, Hotel Aspen. We will surely be back again.

“Outstanding Stay at Hotel Aspen”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 February 2012

Hotel Aspen features a great location, easy walking distance to Aspen's restaurants, shops, and Ajax -- or just pick up your skis and walk a few steps or across the street to the free shuttle to the other ski areas. Our bedroom was equipped with a flatscreen TV, fridge, microwave, and space heater! Heating the bathroom to just the right temperature was a luxury I enjoyed! Breakfast was above average, substanitial enough for skiiers: fresh scrambled eggs, home fries, bacon, assorted cold meats & cheese, pastries, and whole grain bread and bagels. Apres ski was a delightful gathering where we met old and new friends over good wine, coffee, and surprisingly well-prepared hot hors d'ouevres! I highly recommend Hotel Aspen for reasonable prices, comfy accomodations, good food, and friendly, competent staff.

Room Tip: We are skiiers, so we love the ground floor rooms with direct access to the street, with excellent a...

“great weekend! thanks!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 February 2012

our reservations were made blindly, having never been to aspen. the whole experience was fantastic! the staff was accommodating, even before we arrived. once settled, we were very comfortable - feeling very much at home for the weekend. our privacy was respected, and breakfast and apres ski were great additions to the weekend. would definitely stay again! thanks for playing a critical part to our our stay in aspen a great experience!

“Mountain Vacation 01/31/2012 to 02/03/2012”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 February 2012

Nice boutique hotel. The room itself has a modern feel. It was very clean and spacious. We had a jacuzzi room on the third floor. We used it every night and with wonderful views of all the mountains. It was super romantic and the staff were very quick with every request (not that we had a lot of them ) but little things like utensils, wine opener ect.
The breakfast was really good. This is not one of those hotels that offers a continental breakfast and only gives you cereal and eggs. We had fresh waffles made for us every morning among other foods to choose from. Very filling! They also offered ospri ski from 4:30 to maybe 6 OR 7 can't remember..offering wine, beer & appetizers. Taco Tuesday was great! Not enough to replace dinner but good enough to go out and have a light dinner a few hours after. Def saves you money.
Location- perfect! right next to all the shuttles that take you everywhere you want to go in aspen .Most of the buses I saw don't charge anything. It's really a good walking distance to downtown anyway ,right on the strip.
The hotel price for the jacuzzi was a little high, but only because we insisted on a jacuzzi, other rooms would have been a lot cheaper than $340.00 a night (that includes all the tax and fees) but I really could find a lot of other hotels that offered a private jacuzzi. It was worth it, especially after a full day of skiing and you want to relax/defrost.

Room Tip: Jacuzzi room was really nice. Worth paying the extra money for. We used it everynight and had drinks...

“Great Value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 February 2012

My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Aspen a few weeks ago during our ski vacation. We enjoyed our room and the daily breakfasts and apres ski drinks and snacks. It was located extremely close to the bus lines and within easy walking distance of everything in Aspen. It was not easy to find a hotel that was affordable, updated and offered amenities like in-room refridgerators, but we were very pleased to find this property. I would certainly return in the future.

Room Tip: I stayed in 325 (rear of the hotel) and it was very quiet. The only downside is having to climb thr...
