“not impressed”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 October 2011

We stayed there recently. VERY AVERAGE. We travel about 120 days a year and stay in budget accommodation. I was not expecting the Sheraton. However was very disappointed with the following:
• Real bad smell in the room
• Sheet son the bed were not big enough and moved off the mattress with each turn – I find this rather gross
• There was a couch to sit on that was os old and out of a shape and so uncomfortable
• There was no counter space at all o food preparation
The location is good and that’s about it

“Clean, updated, close, within walking distance”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 September 2011

We travled to Aspen with two other couples. Check in went easy, the desk clerk was not friendly, but I am more concerned with the rooms. All 3 rooms were updated, whirlpool tubs, clean, roomy, small kitchenettes, fireplaces in each room. Within walking distance to downtown area, cafes. Prices were reasonable for Aspen, we would stay there again.

“Unique, Cute and Needing Repairs”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 September 2011

The concept is unique and cute. I was disappointed with the concierge/manager's information about the accommodations. She was pleasant, but uninformed. The cabin we were in was supposed to be Deluxe, but was in various stages of disrepair. The water in this town tastes awful and if you are staying in this town...buy bottled water. A hotel with a kitchenette that was furnished well while the bathroom was gross and in need of attention.

Room Tip: Cabins away on the back row...away from the street are quieter.

“Treated poorly before I walked in the door”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 August 2011

Do you know they have a 30 day cancellation policy? Crazy...I have seen places with 2 weeks cancellation policy. So I had two rooms set and we had last minute plans that changed. I called this hotel which I booked through expedia...about 2 days short of 30 days. 28 days before the stay date. And instead they said first "call expedia" which Expedia said...actually it's up to the hotel. Who after giving me the run around promptly told me they weren't going to take one night of charge but the entire 3 night stay off my credit card !! $530 dollars. Nice. So regardless if this is the best hotel or not....If your planning on staying there you had be 100 % sure there are no changes. Otherwise they are cold and will treat you like dirt.

“HORRID”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 August 2011

The pictures are very misleading. The cabin was old, musty, dirty & not updated at all. When we checked in we were given an upgrade. I shudder to think what our original cabin looked like. When my husband killed a black widow spider in the bathroom we left without spending the night. This was a $200 ripoff. I can't believe anyone would stay there no matter what the price.
