we came here on our honeymoon and it was absoultly amazing. watching ernie feed the wild chipmunk every morning. we happened to be the only ones there that week so got to know ernie and sandy on a better leel and they were awesome. when we got back to colorado for another visit we will definitly be staying here again. loved every minute of it waking up in the wilderness room and looking outside the window every morning watching the sun ride over the snowy top mountains. amazing.

This is how you wish it could always be! Extraordinary location, exceptional accommodation, and genuinely warm welcome. Ernie & Sandy are wonderful hosts, and this is an absolute gem. It's worth changing your route to stay here. Ernie will introduce you to the chipmunks, (and hopefully the bears from a distance), while Sandy brings a breakfast creation that has to be experienced......

A charming log cabin inn surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery, Mountain Comfort Bed and Breakfast is the place to stay for your Colorado vacation! Hosts Ernie and Sandy Dumas truly live up to the "Enter as strangers, leave as friends" plaque above their door. Generous, warm and caring, they provide a beautiful home away from home, with plenty of amenities to remind you that you're really on vacation. We loved coming back to the B&B to recuperate and relax after long hikes on the area fourteeners. The food was fabulous--both breakfasts in the mornings and desserts in the evenings. We would definitely stay there again!

I spent three nights here and couldn't have been more pleased. Sandy and Ernie were very friendly and treated everyone like family. The house is beautiful and clean and the view of the Mosquito and Tenmile mountain ranges is amazing. The outdoor hot tub was a welcome sight after hiking the local 14000'+ local peaks. Plus, there was even a jacuzzi tub in my private bathroom.

Overall a great place, great people, great location. Definitely recommended!
