“BEST EXPERIENCE EVER”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 November 2011

I have stayed in many hotels between buisness and work throughout the years, but this is by far the best experience I have ever had. Me and 7 other family members(including 4 children) were in town for a funeral. We had traveled over 10 hours. When we arrived everything was good...nothing spectacular. Staff was nice. The rooms were ok. We were only staying 1 night and leaving right after the funeral the next day. We headed out around 9:00 at night for out 10 hour car trip back home. About 2 hours in we stopped for gas, my cousin (who was holding all the money) could not find her wallet. After emptying out the van and looking everywhere we could not find it. We decided to head back to the hotel to see if we possible left it in the room or something. We arrived back to the hotel at around 12:30 am. and with the help of the staff looked for the wallet but could not come uo with anything. At this point it was around 1:30am. We all gatherd in the lobby.. all the kids were either a sleep or upset. One of the employees called the manager.. the manager came to the hotel and was amazing.... he gave us 2 free rooms for the night, orderd pizza for us, opened there breakfast area and told us to help ourselves the anything we wanted.... He was absolutely amazing. I really didn't thing there were people like this around anymore. This was by fare the best experience I ever had in a hotel. Look no further... stay here ... if for nothing else.. just to meet one of the few outstanding members of society left in this world.

“Best Comfort Inn”

We have stayed at many Comfort Inns across the United States, but I have to say.....this one was above and beyond our expectations for the price. All the staff was very friendly, the rooms were impeccably clean. You could smell the nice clean odor of Pine Sol when entering the room...which we LOVE. The room was very quiet. And the breakfast was everything you ask for...from bisquits and gravy, scrambled eggs, sausages, cold cereal and a variety of juice and coffee. It was delicious! They offered us bottles of water and fruit or cookies, when we left. We would definitely recomment this hotel to anyone staying in the area.

“Good hotel for being a chain hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 October 2011

The hotel was ok for the rate and being a chain. The rooms were alright if you don't expect much. The breakfast is ok and the staff friendly. There isn't much to say about this place - it's ok but nothing special. We would stay here again. Don't miss Sand Dunes National Park!

“Not Quite what I was expecting”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 October 2011

I have stayed at other Comfort Inns and this was nothing I expected. It was in my AAA book and since it was getting dark and we hadn't made a reservation, I called and booked for one night. It is a western style hotel, the front of the hotel is basically sand and rock, no greenery at all. The room had ugly teal carpeting, and a smell of smoke, although the property is smoke-free. There was a used towel hanging on the back of the door, that housekeeping must have overlooked the day before. Breakfast the next morning was adequate, but just to let other people know, there is a Hampton Inn just down the road that was not listed in the AAA book. I would have stayed there instead, in a heartbeat.

“Comfort Inn Alamosa”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 October 2011

This was nice hotel, and a good value for the price. We could hear quite a bit of noise from the room next to us during the evening, but they were quiet by the time we went to bed.
