We came here for Christmas eve. So much fun. Had hummus for an appetizer. Great! Then my wife and I had the Mac and cheese with bacon/scallions/tomatoes. Loved it. For dessert had creme brûlée. Outstanding! Also had multiple glasses of outstanding wine. Erin Teran performed! Gifted singer. Couldn't ask for a better night.

Arrived at the wine bar for a birthday celebration with my friends. The wine we selected was great - Ortman Family Vineyards ( 2 different varietals) and a Sierra Madre. The service was impeccable. Kari has the best disposition. The food comes in small portions, but very delicious. We had two of the flat bread pizzas, bacon covered dates, cheese platter, biscuits, and macaroni cheese with bacon.

WOW!!! What a great, refreshing place to gather in the village of Arroyo Grande! Kari Ziegler opened this wonderfully modern yet relaxed wine bar that focuses on pouring local wine by the glass. Kari mixes great atmosphere, wine and snacks to create a welcoming place to meet friends for relaxed conversation and great music.

I had my 40th birthday party at Gather on a Saturday night. What a wonderful place to have a party! Kari and her staff know how to do events right!

So I stop in for a look see, see what's up, what they have to offer, check out the ambience and, well, wet my whistle. Got greeted right away, which is always a good start and I might add with sincerity. The place has a cosy leather couch in the back, nice tables with plenty of room so you don't feel crowed. Several different areas to get comfortable. I plopped myself at the bar area and much to my amazement, they have beer on tap too! Bonus!! Got a draft and then noticed they had fun things to eat. Prices reasonable, service great, a must for traveling thru the area, pit stop to wet yer whistle, or woo your significant other. Oh yeah, patio too out back with heaters if its cool out. I said I stopped in for a look see!
