“Nice stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 February 2011

Loved the location. Walking distance of a strip mall containing outlets. Ate at Mary's Pizza Shack which was charming albeit noisy. Huge Walmart just across the road.
Indoor pool and jacuzzi. First night slept fine. Second night had a party going on in the adjacent room. Had to switch rooms and the only room they said was available was an upgrade which usually costs 50.00 more. They charged me an extra 20.00 instead. Was disappointed because I didn't think that anyone would be coming in at midnight to get an upgraded room. The breakfast was okay, fairly starchy but for the two night's stay it did the trick. Would stay again, but make sure I didn't get a connecting room because it contributed to the noise problem on night #2.

“Crap Hole but apparently 420 friendly”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 February 2011

Anderscum CA. I booked a week and a half in advance....TV remote didn't work, phone didn't work, few lights were not usable (bulbs out) room smelled of burning plastic...and NO Cab serivce in the whole town. (which was poor information because I was told IN FACT there was cab service available without extra charge) That was untrue at the time I checked in and it costs $20 for a cab to even come to the hotels in Anderson.
Heavy traffic from the first room first floor was like a marijuana pot farm on fire. Staff seemed not to mind. The pool and spa is a public bath, 30+ kids nad white trash!
As I reluctantly checked in. because I had a dinner function in Anderson to attend already paid for and such, so I stayed. It was the second time in 10 years. It was the last.

“Good, economical over night/Warning”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 January 2011

This motel is good for a one night stay if you want an acceptable and economical place to sleep. Anderson, incidentally, is only 10 miles from Redding and cheaper. Redding has more places to eat.

The rooms are clean [this is from people who wash toilet and faucet handles when they use a room]. The beds have sheet covered blankets, not bedspreads, which are always questionable. Bathrooms seemed clean.

The rooms are pretty small and economically furnished. The walls are a little thin, and there was moderately loud TV on either side of us.

For $62 + tax—aaa rate-- we got a comfortable, fairly new king bed, small, analog tv, microwave, and small refrigerator. Breakfast was the usual forgettable motel fare.

Warning: this is one of these places that tack on a fee for a safe and don’t mention it. They’ll take the charge off as soon as you ask. Otherwise, it just slips by.

“Friendly Staff, Quiet Room”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 January 2011

Stopped here heading home after driving 10 hours. Staff very friendly and efficient. This is a quiet hotel even though it's situated between a highway and an interstate. Picked this place since it's pet friendly and It was the first time my year old maltese stayed in a hotel. Worked out great. Room well stocked with linens and coffee supplies with fridge & microwave. Will definitely stay again.

“Great value for the money”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 December 2010

I would happily stay here again. The bed linens were beautiful. We had a fridge and a microwave in our room -- which as we got in late, we used for dinner. Breakfast was good, with lots of fresh coffee, great O.J. and even hard boiled eggs. Very nice hotel.
