We stayed at the Ramada when we flew into LA, wanted somewhere close to Disneyland. The room was fantastic, very modern and clean. Beds were very comfortable. Staff were so friendly, the reception desk phoned our room to ensure everything was ok. The view was nothing fancy, just of the carpark....but who cares, we only wanted a room for the night as we were heading off on our big drive around the west coast. The Ramada offered complimentary hot breakfast which was great - plenty to choose, from waffles, bacon, eggs, cereal etc. Laundry facilities were very clean, there is however, only two washing machines and two dryers but there never seemed to be a wait for one. Close location to Disneyland and Avis car hire (one of the reasons we originaly chose this hotel). We enjoyed this hotel so much we stayed another night on the last leg of our trip.

We stayed in the 2Q 1sofa room for 6 nights and got a good discount for staying more than 5 nights.

Pros
Good value for money. Unlike some of the nearby resorts, there are no hidden charges like parking fees, resort fees etc. Within walking distance to Disneyland. There is a ABC mart and a 7 Eleven across the road. There are many eateries/restaurants catering to different budget nearby. The efficient front desk staff responded promptly to choked toilet problem, ran to the motel next door to get me quarters and got me washing detergent from the laundry room when the vending machine was jammed.

Cons
The only con is the hot breakfast included in the stay. The food served is decent but it’s surprising that they serve the same items every day with no variation at all.

Stayed for 10 nights in 2 adjoining rooms and overall this is OK.

Room is quite comfortable but our overall experience was spoiled by a problematic toilet, The toilet blocked on 4 occasions and the staff were responsive EXCEPT on the last occasion when we were handed the plunger and advised to fix it ourselves.

Upon complaining to Karen (Manager) she apologised and offered us a room change - a bit late for this. When advised that we would be writing a letter of complaint, Karen didn't seem overly concerned.

Apart from that - breakfast is OK but very limited and we stopped having it after 7 days. It does get crowded and run out towards the latter part.

The walk to Disney was 12 minutes (timed) so is convenient and there are a number of eateries around this hotel.

Overall - it could be rated as value for money but there is a lot of competition and I would probably stay elsewhere if I returned.

Unfortunately, my experience here has ensured Ramada generally is not my preferred hotel chain

Disneyland ~ Best Holiday Ever ~ & knowing that we head back to the Ramada Plaza each night, made it the complete package! Beautiful Hotel, Great Price, Amazing, Friendly Staff ~ there to handle any/all questions, issues, concerns. They stepped to the plate each time & couldn't be more courteous & willing to accommodate anything that we'd like.

Super clean rooms, comfy beds, flat screen tvs, all amenities, pool, hot tub, 24 hr. wash/dry laundry, gym, parking, ice machine, shuttle p/u ~ they mop the parking lot daily! The night concierge even found us batteries when our laptop mouse needed new ones! The Breakfast Buffet is Delightful ~ staff is over the top friendly & helpful. Brought my young son Apple Juice, even when the buffet menu had cranberry & orange juice happening! Plenty of dishes to choose from as 3 of us are vegetarians! Beyond our wildest dreams Holiday ~ from start to finish ~ Thank You Ramada Plaza!

being thankful is a far better focus of energy! Extremely odd concern ~ doubt that anyone else cares!
