“Bad Experience”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 February 2012

First surprise was the 14.00 per night parking fee. 2nd disappointment: Shower head is the worst I've seen. The water comes out in a slow stream. Once you look at the shower head you realize why. Half of the holes are plugged by calcium deposits. The drain was backed-up and within a few minutes I was standing in a pool of water. As I got out of the shower I was planning on calling to complain. 3rd: The phone had no dial tone! Now I had to call from cell phone to complain about the phone, drain and shower head. I would have been happy with an apology didn't get that either. The ironing board was bent so you had to prop it up. The iron had something stuck to the bottom and it would not glide over clothes. I gave up and wore my shirt wrinkled rather than risk ruining it They also had this strange policy of putting a $40 per day hold on your credit card for EVERY night you stay. The hold doesn't come off your account for a week, according to the women at the front desk! Disappointed

We are sorry to hear you had a bad experience with us. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback wiht us as we value all feedbacks and take necessary actions to improve ourselves and to have corrections in place. We have package deals with parking included with rate. Our parking fee is at a reasonable cost taking our location and fee charge by nearby hotels into comparison. Thank you for your understanding with the $40 incidental authorization. Incidental charges are anything that is not part of the room rate. Parking, calls or food & beverages charges are all consider as part of incidental charges. It is the hotel policy to ensure to have the authorization and therefore guest can charge it to room prior to departure and settle final balance at check out.

“Noisy”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 February 2012

We were on the main floor and the front desk staff were not that friendly. The carpet to our room was dirty and the bathroom tub did not look clean and was peeling. It was hard to get any sleep since the walls are so thin. We could hear people in the next room talking and they were not given talking in a loud voice. No CBS on the TV. I told the front desk about the dirty carpet and tub but they did nothing, just a sorry. I do not agree this is a 3.5 star hotel. We booked our room through Priceline so maybe they give the worst rooms to people who do not pay full price.

“Great looking 42" LG TV - as long as you don't turn it on.”

Friendly front desk as long as you aren't asking for any actual service. If you expect to get some sleep while you are here please bring good earplugs and a couple of sleeping pills. In lieu of proving soundproof rooms perhaps the management could post signs in the hallways to ask guests to "be considerate, our walls are paper thin so keep your noise level to a minimum - thanks in advance". The hotel management also needs to address the housekeeping issue pronto as we had to chase a maid down to vacuum our filthy carpet which had lots of food and debris left from previous guests. The room shows so much wear and tear for a recent remodel (the handle to the fridge cabinet has nearly come off - and the fridge is barely colder than the room). The reason I am giving it 2 stars is that the WINDOWS DO OPEN (which is a blessing and a curse). Fresh air is so rare in hotels these days - but the view onto the parking lot (where the employee of the month is blaring his radio waiting for his friends to go party) is less than savory. The second star is for the wireless internet which worked pretty well most of the time. There is a microwave that will hold a plate.
We did have a nice engineer change out the TV our second night and he explained that "some of the TV's just don't have the right cable card so they don't get many channels".
If you are on the ground floor of the hotel be prepared to walk up to the second floor if you want ICE. There is no Hot Tub by the pool which is much too cold to swim in. The breakfast is not worth getting up for to get jostled about for stale scraps. We did walk over to the IHOP as other guests suggested but were just not willing to spend $12 for three pancakes (970 calories). If you want a great breakfast go to Catal at Downtown Disney for LESS. As has been mentioned the walls here ARE PAPER THIN - you can and WILL hear a child crying, bed springs creaking, drunken laughter, and any amount of private conversations and embarrassing bathroom sound effects. The padded cell wallpaper wouldn't be so bad if it actually covered up some actual soundproofing material. For all those Priceline customers here's a tip: This property is now listed in Disneyland - Anaheim South - Garden Grove -Orange - so be prepared for this wild card to show up.

Room Tip: Bring your own sheets and pillows and some really good earplugs as all the rooms are about the same.

In regards to our TV channel situation, we are experiencing some equipment difficulties with our Direct TV channel processors. We are diligently working on this issue with Direct TV and have been placed on their priority list. Direct TV is working on a resolution to our problem but can not give us an estimated completion time. We are confident that this issue will be resolved by Direct TV in a timely manner.

“Just OK”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 February 2012

We stayed 1 night here after finishing up a 4 day trip to Disneyland. I feel like it was a run down hotel that was hastily refurbished with substandard products. When we arrived there was only 1 person working the counter and I had 5 people ahead of me to check in and it took about 25 minutes to get through the line. Nothing "WOW" about his property.

I just wanted to take the time to leave a review on here as being in the hospitality trade, people are soon to write a negative review but dont always make the effort when they have a good one!
This hotel is absolutely fantastic, my partner and family stayed for 2 weeks in the beginning of September 2011 and I have recommended the hotel and the whole holiday to so many of my friends and family.
All the staff are exetremely friendly and really seem interested in your having a good time! From reception, breakfast and bar staff to the maintenance guy my mum got stuck in the lift with and the housekeeping team.
A very well done all round!! x

Room Tip: Ask when booking for the view facing the road, you get to see the disneyland fireworks!! Also note t...
