Friendly front desk as long as you aren't asking for any actual service. If you expect to get some sleep while you are here please bring good earplugs and a couple of sleeping pills. In lieu of proving soundproof rooms perhaps the management could post signs in the hallways to ask guests to "be considerate, our walls are paper thin so keep your noise level to a minimum - thanks in advance". The hotel management also needs to address the housekeeping issue pronto as we had to chase a maid down to vacuum our filthy carpet which had lots of food and debris left from previous guests. The room shows so much wear and tear for a recent remodel (the handle to the fridge cabinet has nearly come off - and the fridge is barely colder than the room). The reason I am giving it 2 stars is that the WINDOWS DO OPEN (which is a blessing and a curse). Fresh air is so rare in hotels these days - but the view onto the parking lot (where the employee of the month is blaring his radio waiting for his friends to go party) is less than savory. The second star is for the wireless internet which worked pretty well most of the time. There is a microwave that will hold a plate.
We did have a nice engineer change out the TV our second night and he explained that "some of the TV's just don't have the right cable card so they don't get many channels".
If you are on the ground floor of the hotel be prepared to walk up to the second floor if you want ICE. There is no Hot Tub by the pool which is much too cold to swim in. The breakfast is not worth getting up for to get jostled about for stale scraps. We did walk over to the IHOP as other guests suggested but were just not willing to spend $12 for three pancakes (970 calories). If you want a great breakfast go to Catal at Downtown Disney for LESS. As has been mentioned the walls here ARE PAPER THIN - you can and WILL hear a child crying, bed springs creaking, drunken laughter, and any amount of private conversations and embarrassing bathroom sound effects. The padded cell wallpaper wouldn't be so bad if it actually covered up some actual soundproofing material. For all those Priceline customers here's a tip: This property is now listed in Disneyland - Anaheim South - Garden Grove -Orange - so be prepared for this wild card to show up.
Room Tip: Bring your own sheets and pillows and some really good earplugs as all the rooms are about the same.

In regards to our TV channel situation, we are experiencing some equipment difficulties with our Direct TV channel processors. We are diligently working on this issue with Direct TV and have been placed on their priority list. Direct TV is working on a resolution to our problem but can not give us an estimated completion time. We are confident that this issue will be resolved by Direct TV in a timely manner.
