Recently completed a 7 night stay at this hotel while visiting Disneyland. I think we got a pretty decent rate as it was booked as a part of a air, hotel, and car package. We stayed in a double queen standard room in Building two. Before arriving I contacted the hotel and stressed we wanted a quite room facing the pool. Most rooms that are booked as a part of a travel package face the freeway. So they placed us just around the corner facing the pool which I appreciated.
-Room was clean, and fairly well maintained
-Our room was quite, beds and pillow were comfortable. We slept great since we walked about five miles a day in the parks.
-Pool and water play area were fun for our 8yo. Mid winter not busy, but pool is smallish so could easily become crowded during high season.
-free parking, great for us since we had a rental car. Driving south on Harbor Blvd there are many places to eat.
-Free wi-fi
-easy walking distance to park as it is right across the street from the main gate entrance
-Of the hotels on Harbor Blvd facing the main gate I believe this is perhaps the only one that the hallways and room doors are inside the buildings. The others have open halls with room doors outside facing parking lots, which could get noisy.
-No evidence of bed bugs, which we always look for when checking into an hotel.
**When considering a hotel near the main gate things to consider cost wise are parking, wi-fi and breakfast. This hotel offered free parking and wi-fi but does offer a breakfast.
-We would stay here again. We were hardly in our room except to sleep. Other hotels that are more than walking distance to the park may offer more perks but then you need to use shuttle service....
