Stayed here in March for a trip to Disney.
Pretty good value, but seemed a little high once they added in a resort fee.
Room was nice and big - Yuha Suite. Kids LOVED the bunk beds.
Rooms was clean. Not a tonne of room for relaxing, but we didnt spend much time in the room anyway. Nice to have the fridge so we could chill beer and juice after a long day!
Isn't a high-end hotel if that is what you are after, more family friendly.
Kind of noisey at times, as the walls are pretty thin, but I think that is standard for older, reno'd hotels.
Pool is abit shady becuase it's the centre of the hotel. Used it once. Kids were okay with it.
Lobby was super nice. Kids loved the games and we hung out there a bit.
Breakfast was great for families. The waffles are SOOOOOOOOOO good. They the ones made with white, sugary batter - mmm mmmm. Eggs, saugages, cereal, juice milk etc. The coffee was terrible! And the one big complaint I have is that they use styrofoam plates!!! So so bad for the environment. At least paper would break down. It was breaking my tree hugging heart seeing hundreds of plates/bowls/cups in the garbage. Please Desert Palms you must do something about this.
Great location - easy walk to Disney and other restaurants.
7-11 is right next door to stock up on water and snacks.
I'd recommend this friends.
If you ask for a quiet room, your view will not be pretty, but your room will be super quiet!
