“Well Located and value for money”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 February 2012

We stayed here for 4 nights. Two adults and three teenage boys. We booked a room over the net that was to suit the 5 of us and when we checked in it was not suitable as it had no bed for the 5th person. They changed us into a family room for an extra $39 a night that was more suitable. Which was fine, but then there was no hot water and we had to try 3 times to get it fixed. On the second day of putting up with this after a long flight from Aus my husband was once again complaining to the girl at reception and threatening to change hotels. The manager overheard this and promptly said that we would be moved to new rooms at no extra charge and we were not charged the upgrade for the room with no hot water. The rooms were clean and quite large and the Hotel is conveniently located walking distance to Disneyland. Quite a long way from sites and attractions in LA though . Taxis become quite expensive. In all we were quite happy with the Hotel when the inital problems were fixed and the free breakfast was a welcome bonus. It is however a true American style one. But the waffles are a different experience as you make them fresh and there is fruit and Yoghurt for those who get tired of the heavier eggs and what our boys nicknamed the mystery meat instead of bacon with your eggs. We still arent quite sure what it truly was. We used the gym and the pool. All in all it was good value.

My recent week stay during a busy trade show trip was made even more enjoyable by the spacious, cheerful, clean room at this hotel. Daily breakfast buffet included in the cost of the room helped accomodate my busy schedule and made the trip even more affordable. Courteous staff, conveniently located walking distance from convention center, restaurants and activities. I will definitely stay at this hotel again.

“Recent stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 February 2012

My staff and I stayed at the hotel during the CHA convention. It was within easy walking distance to the convention center. It was great to have so many choices for breakfast. The room was big enough that we could hold mini meeting while having breakfast.

The rooms were clean and comfortable but a little small.

We had mini meetings in the bar in the evenings which was a nice way to relax. The menu was small but the food was great.

Room Tip: Don't get a room near the elevators

“Yuha Suite great for families”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 February 2012

Stayed in room 424 from 1/27-29 for a Disneyland trip. We have three children ages 4 and 2 years, and 3.5 months. Had previously stayed in an Anabella Mission Suite, but needed a bigger bed for the older kids and the Anabella second "room" was more the size of a large closet. The second room size and bunk bed of the Yuha room were perfect. The bunk steps were sturdy and the upper bunk rail felt secure so we weren't worried about our 4 yo rolling off. There was also a sofa bed in the room, but the room is large enough that we were able to roll in our sit n stand stroller with room to spare. Main room had king bed with just enough room on left side to slide in the pack n play we brought. Big room sized fridge, but we had to turn it on when we arrived so we had to find ice to put in our cooler until we got back to the room after doing Disney all afternoon and night. Our room overlooked the parking lot, which was nicer than the other side since that would have put us over the pool. Reception said that our room would have full view of Disney fireworks, but we were not in our room to see them. Included continental breakfast was very nice with lots of options for a freebie. 2-3 employees continually refreshed food, cleared tables and emptied garbage. Free parking was also a bonus since many hotels charge. We checked out before leaving for our last day of Disney and were able to leave our car in the same parking spot without any cost or even different parking slip. Walk to Disney up S Harbor was short and nice. Ordered food from the Sandbox Bar and brought up to the room one night. Food was good and decent sized. The few cons were small. While the furnishings were updated, the carpeting looks tired. The main vent for the AC in our room was in the second room, the kids room, meaning when we shut the door for the night we realized their room was getting really cold, while the main room didn't get much air even though there is another vent. Another small thing was that the rooms are seperated by a heavy slider door and our door needed quite a bit of coaxing to open and shut. Finally there are opaque windows betweent the rooms with no curtains so the light filters through either room. We are already telling people about our pleasant stay and will definitely stay here again.
