“Comfy beds, good value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 February 2012

My family of four stayed here for 9 nights. For the money, it was very good. We stayed in a room on the ground floor with two queen beds near the breakfast room. The room itself was clean, the carpet did have a couple of stains and looked as if it needed to be replaced, but my socks remained white after walking on it. The beds were comfortable. My kids enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub. The staff came in every morning to clean our room. The breakfast was fine. It had good choices, great coffee and creamer, and friendly staff. Gloria was particularly nice. One suggestion I have is to purchase some salsa or walk across the street to Taco Bell for some because it helps to spice up the eggs. Really, it is no Ritz Carlton, does show wear, but it is a great value for your money especially if you plan on spending most of your time out sight seeing. Who can argue with a free breakfast either. One other thing- it offers free parking and no resort fee surcharge which over several days can add up to a lot of cash.

It is a great pleasure to have your family stay with us and thanks for you to spend your valuable time to share your enjoyable experience with us.

I know our building does show tear and wear conditions during these years, however, our housekeeping crews work really hard to make our rooms clean and neat; and our maintenance team do their best to keep up this building and ensure everything works properly.

Your suggestion for purchasing some salsa is a great one. I will go ahead to do so.

Comfort Inn has tried to promote their brands into a higher standard and getting a better marketing share, we have expended our breakfast from a regular Continental Breakfast into a Deluxe Hot Breakfast since the last June. I believe you and your family already found these changes are most welcomed. It does cost us more money to provide these FREE breakfast, your enjoyments and pleases are the greatest rewards for us.

Besides, our room rate is very reasonable and comparable. That is why most of our guests found our rate has a very good value.

Again, Thanks for your businesses. We are looking forward to seeing you and your family again.

“Great value - close enough to Disneyland”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 January 2012

As with other reviews, everything I say here revolves around "value". This isn't a resort hotel. But at the same time, this isn't a bare bones place to stay either (like most options right across the street).

With the age of our kids, we have reached the point where we spend long days at the park. So this hotel is a great fit for us. Simple rooms (the suite is ideal with the extra beds), simple breakfast to kick start our day, nice pool and spa to visit each night. While it is on a busy road, most of the hotel is set back far enough that you don't notice much noise. Even if the pool is occupied (I have never seen more than 5 people at at time), it is far enough away from the rooms that it shouldn't keep the kids up at night.

There are also some good restaurants that are very short walks from the hotel. So if you want to return to the hotel for lunch or a late dinner, you have options.

In the room, the beds are comfy and the room is clean. You can tell it is an old building, but it isn't falling apart. The staff is pleasant, and can help you with transportation to the park, or getting around town.

The hotel is close enough to Disneyland that you can simply walk in the morning (even with kids). It is a nice way to stretch out and enjoy the sun. We normally buy tickets to ride the shuttle home each night. It can take a while, since they are many stops before the Comfort Inn. However, it is a mild inconvenience in the grand scheme of things.

All in all, highly recommended as a value hotel around Disneyland.

Room Tip: Go for a suite, which has an extra room with bunk beds and a TV. If you have someone who likes to s...

It is glad to know that you are satisfied with our property.

As mentioned on your review, we try really hard to provide more features and better services to serve our guests to have an enjoyable vacation with our reasonable rate. The following key factors do add up to a “Great Value” compliment comment.

1. We provide Deluxe Hot Breakfast to give our guests a good kick-off starting every morning.

2. We also work out with some surrounding restaurants to provide a restaurant discount coupon for our guests to get a special discount when dining with those restaurants. The discounted rate is ranged from 10% to 15%.

3. Our kid suite room is a special feature comparing with the surrounding hotel/motel which is a good fit for a big family. Some suite rooms have two bathrooms inside which will be much more convenience for a family with all grew-up kids, and a large adult team since they don’t need to worry about someone may occupy the restroom a long time.

4. We are one of Disneyland Good Neighbor properties. We sell all discounted Disneyland tickets for Disneyland. You not only can save some money when you buy tickets with us, but also save your time to wait on the line to purchase the tickets at the Disneyland ticket office.

5. We provide free parking.

6. We provide free Wi-Fi high speed internet access.

7. We do not charge any resort fee.

Again, thanks for you spent your valuable time to write this review sharing your comments with everybody. Hope we can see you come back soon.

“Good value”

This was just a quick stop-over. Older property in old motel format. Got a passing grade in the all-important cleanliness category. Walked past the laundry on my way to our room and was pleased to see they were washing all of the bedding, not just the sheets. Room looked like it had been recently renovated. Granite vanity, flat screen tv, bathroom not bad. No WiFi issues. Overall not a bad value. Would stay at this place again.

“Nice people, good price”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 January 2012

Granted, when we go to Disneyland, we spend very little time in our hotel, so my reviews for this area are very limited. The checkin went really smoothly. I reserved the room over the www.choicehotels.com website and was able to get a good discount for prepaying for the room. I had with me my husband, 3 children and a family friend. I loved one aspect of this room in that there is a cute little room with its own bathroom and tv that I put my oldest daughter and our friend in so that they could have some privacy and their own shower! Yay! The bunkbeds were very cute, very convienient and each had it's own reading light, to the delight of our bookworms. One bad note, we arrived late (about 10pm) and after having driven all day long, we threw suits on the kids and headed for the pool and hot tub. The water in the hot tub smelled so bad of chlorine that it was almost impossible to breath, and the water was so yellowy murky that you almost couldn't see your hand about a foot under the water, and as a hot tub...it wasn't very hot, so my hopes of soaking off the aching muscles of driving all day were all in vain.
Excellent breakfast, they have a couple of those make your own waffle irons that the kids love. Scrambled eggs, yogurt, oj, milk, boiled eggs, sausage, cereal, apple juice....am I forgetting anything? Basically solid and a good start to your day so that you don't have to blow $50 on breakfast for the family before even entering the park.
The room rate was great, we got the nice big room with the extra bunk room for $103 + tax---be aware, the tax rate in Annehiem is something like 18% so that came to about $125 per night. Again, that was a great price on that room since I have often seen the base rate on it go for $125 or higher per night.
Beds were comfy, sheets were clean, front desk very helpful with extra towels and shampoo to wash off extra chlorine from hot tub. Would definitely recommend to families. Disneyland is about a 25 min walk from hotel (our kids are all over 9 so we walk rather then shuttle), and staff allowed us to leave our car there during the day even after we had checked out. Very nice!

Room Tip: if you have a large family, watch for the rooms that have a separate bunk room attached. Some have...

Thanks for you spent your valuable time to write this review. I am glad to learn that you are really like our suite room layout plus the second bathroom does provide lots of convenience and privacy.

Regarding your experience with the hot tub, I have to apologize that the temperature and the cleanness are far below the expectations. Matter of fact, this exactly same issue already happened several times after we installed the emergency shut-off switch in our pool circulation pump system. By the Federal Law, all public pools and spas need to install an emergency shut-off switch in the circulation pump system to prevent people’s clothes and/or hair being sucked into the pump and causing people drown. If people try to enjoy the sucking pressure from the spa’s pumping system, they always cover the sucking drain hole as tight as they can. However, this will cause the circulation pump shut off and cause the water dirty and not hot enough. Since this circulation pump is different and separated from the injecting pump, people can still use those injecting pump and does not aware the circulation pump is off.

My maintenance crews always checks our pool/spa and pumping system every morning when they start working and every night when they close the pool. Since this circulation pump shut off is happened during the operation hour, now I have them to do additional checking around 6:00PM. Hope this addition check up can reduce this situation happening’s frequency.

Again, thanks for your comments and we hope can see you and your family visit us again soon.

“Not bad for the money”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 January 2012

Not the nicest hotel I've stayed at but not the worst. I booked it because I was trying to save money and knew it wouldn't be like the Hyatt down the road we've stayed at in the past. The hotel is old and shows some wear and tear but overall the room was pretty decent. Beds were comfy. Rooms closer to the road are quite noisy, we asked to be moved further away from road and it was better. Breakfast was OK.......the syrup for the waffles was watery and tasted awful. The staff was courteous but not friendly. I don't think I ever saw a smile from any of them except the women in charge of the breakfast. Overall it's a decent place to stay for the low rate I booked the room for. I'd stay again if the price was right.

I am glad that you are willing to give us an opportunity to try-out. I understand we are not even close to be able to compare with Hyatt Hotel. As you mentioned on your review, we can save our guests’ some money and what we provided is worth what the guests paid for.

I will contact with my supplier to find out the issue about the syrup. This supplier delivers all breakfast food and accessories for almost every limited service motels in the Disneyland area. The products they delivered should be no problem at all. Anyway, I will still look into this issue.

Give us a call to check on our price when you need to visit Disneyland area again. I believe that our price will be always right for you and worth for your money.
