If you are looking for just a room to sleep in and that is all, then this place will do. The photos completely misrepresent the rooms, they are not that nice. I was disapointed in there rooms and will not stay there again, but if you are on a tight budget and you know you are only going to sleep here and that is it then this place with do.

We stayed here for two nights in January to spend a day at Disneyland. We enjoyed our stay and had no complaints. Beds were comfortable and bathroom was clean, shower worked well. Wifi was quick and reliable. Breakfast is not included; there is an i-hop, 7-11 and various small chain eateries all on the opposite corner.

Disneyland is across the road, but walking to the front entrance is about a 20 minute walk- definitely not far. You cannot expect to be directly outside the entrance for the price you pay here. Prices were reasonable, we booked online but didn't go for a package as these came with the day hopper pass, and we only planned to go to Disneyland. The package would be good if you planned to go to both parks though, or planned to go to the parks for more than 1 day.

There is plenty of parking, and a car hire across the road which is where we picked up a car for the rest of our trip. We slept well with no interruptions from other rooms. We were a bit back from the road so cannot comment on road noise.

Overall we had a good stay. This is a good option to be close enough to the parks to walk, without the price hike of staying directly by the entrance. Also a great option if you have a car with you.

The website is VERY misleading! All I kept thinking is what an old trashy hotel! The hotel had thin walls; we could not sleep or even hear the tv because of the stomping upstairs and the neighbors' tvs. It is NOT close to Disneyland! It is over a mile walk to the park and after a long day it is a trek with children. The rooms were sub-par, looked clean but felt really dirty, and there were black hairs in the towels (we are all blond). I say spend the extra few dollars and stay in a nice place closer to the park on Harbor Blvd across from the main gate.

When we decided to take our children to Disneyland this past October we were not interested in spending a ton of money. I booked our package through Allegiant Air and we travelled the short distance from our home on Vancouver Island, B.C. to Bellingham, Washington where we caught our flight to Anaheim. The hotel we chose - the Jolly Roger Inn Anaheim, was an excellent budget option for our family. Given that we took advantage of our 5 days at DL, we really weren't in our room that often so paying a ton of money for a hotel didn't make sense to us.The room we stayed in was clean, cool (it was 45 degrees Celcius during our visit!) and the beds were extremely comfortable. We brought our little sleep machine that plays white noise and slept like babies. The hotel was about a 15 minute walk from DL - sometimes we took the bus back as there isn't a complimentary shuttle. The Anaheim DL transit service is excellent and drops off across from the Jolly Roger. Also across the street is a 7-11 where we would stock up on food and water before entering the park - we saved so much money and ate healthy that way. The 7-11 carried fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, milk and a ton of healthy nuts and snacks. The staff at the Jolly Roger were pleasant and helpful and the pool is lovely. We swam several times to escape the heat and met many nice people (many from Arizona) as we all soaked in the water. I would recommend the Jolly Roger to anyone who isn't concerned about luxury and doesn't mind walking a little. Unfortunately, there aren't any extras such as complimentary fridges or microwaves in rooms, or continental breakfast -that would have been nice. But for the price, it is a great option (and it's excellent that it is so close to such a great convenience store).
