We stayed at this BW right next to the Disneyland entrance in early January 2012 for 3 nights. We consider ourselves "Disney pro's", having been 3 times now. For us it was about location; picking the best decent hotel as close as possible, because our approach to Disney has us get there early, leave mid afternoon, and return in the evening. All without having to take out a mortgage. This place seemed to fit the bill.
Pro's:
1. Location: WOW. It is literally the closest lodging to Magic Kingdom possible, even more than the horrible, disappointing and overpriced Disney offerings (we stayed at the horrible, overpriced Grand Californian last time; see my TA review). A 5-10 minute walk has you at the MK or DCA gates. So this place is good if you want to leave the parks and rest or just do something different for a few hours. Also, it has excellent and cheap(er) food offerings in the area (try Fire and Ice in the nearby mall), including IHOP right next door. Getting onto the highway is a 1 minute drive (without the noise in your room though). Location cannot be beat.
2. Cleanliness: This place was clean and tidy. The rooms are a bit tired and not beautiful at all, but for 3 stars and $99/night, it works well. The money saved can be put to many other good uses. Also, rooms have fridges, microwaves, coffee machines.
3. Parking: Good, convenient, cheap parking.
4. Free WiFi.
Con's:
1. Rooms: As I mentioned they are a bit tired, somewhat musty smelling. Top floor access can be difficult due to one elevator (we used stairs so did not care).
2. Aircon: We did not use it much owing to it being winter. But it is old and noisy, but effective from what we could tell.
3. Breakfast: Included in your rate is a buffet breakfast at the adjoining Capt Kidd's buffet. Horrible, lame, brutal. But then for $99/night at the best location in Disneyland, something has to give. Starbucks a short drive away, IHOP next door. Or go buy some staples at the minimart next door.
Conclusion: This was an incredible value at an incredible location. This is no frills, no luxury. We would come back here.
Room Tip: Ask for a top floor room on the far east side.

Thank you for providing such a detailed review of our property. It will help us focus on needed areas of improvement. I am pleased you enjoyed your stay with us. We do look forward to having you stay with us again. For a more pleasant stay your next visit, I would like to address a couple of points. The AC units used daily. If the one in your room seems too loud, please let us know. If it needs replaced, it can be done in about 10 minutes with a new one. We do have two elevators available. They are on opposite sides of the pool. For our continental breakfast, it appears there may be a misunderstanding of where ours is located. It is next door at Captain Kidds but is not part of their buffet. We host breakfast on their second floor. It consists of biscuits and gravy, bagels, toast, muffins, cereal, fruit, oatmeal, yogurt, juices, coffee and milk. We are also in the process of introducing pancakes, scrambled eggs and sausage.
We hope to see you again soon.
Thank you and take care.
