“So friendly and helpful”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 January 2012

This hotel was a great base for Disneyland. It was a very easy walk straight up Harbor Blv to Disneyland and took us about 10 minutes. We ate one night at The Overland Stage Bar and Grill. We were initially unsure but received excellent service and the food was fresh, cooked well and yummy. Pancakes are $4 at Coffee Shop and were a quick breakfast before Disney. There is a guest laundry where you can do your own washing- easy and cheap! The desk staff, Disney rep and concierge were all very friendly and helpful with all our requests. Free internet is an absolute bonus. The room was big and had a little balcony overylooking part of the Park. Perfect location and fine place to stay.

Room Tip: Asked for a room that overlooked park for fireworks.

We always stay at this hotel when in Anaheim. Being an SPG Gold member helps get to the Club Floor but it's a great place to stay regardless of which floor you are on. Facing the parks is nice, if you plan on viewing the fireworks, but probably isn't worth extra money.

Being on the club floor for a free continental breakfast and evening drinks and appetizers can be worth the cost of upgrading but that's up to you. Restaurants aren't cheap around the park and if you can save money with included food, it's something to consider. The staff in the club is always helpful and polite. There aren't many tables but it's a nice spread of options.

The other reason we like the hotel are the rooms. They can be a little tight for a family of four but having two queen-size beds instead of two doubles or full-sized beds makes all the difference. There's only one sink so you need to manage your "beauty" time.

Stayed 2 night and went to Disney. overall hotel was good for the price with a nice location. Typical Sheraton -- nice clean rooms just a little outdated. Staff was friendly and happy to help. Parking $15/day.

Minimal walk to Disney -- would stay here again.

“Exceeded all expectation”

I came down for our now annual trip to Disneyland for New Years Eve. The last two trips to Disneyland, I stayed ant the Camelot Inn and Suites, but decided for a change. I booked through the Military, and after booking, realized the hotel was a bit further away that I had thought. I was bummed about not being able to refund, but thank God I couldn't.

We checked in about 10PM on December 30th. The first thing we noticed was how good the lobby smelled. The front desk staff were all wide awake and friendly. We immediately recieved $50.00 vouchers for the restuarants onsite, and told we got free parking. What, really?!?

When we got to our floor (11), we realized it was the "Executive Level." How did we swing this? All of a sudden, the longer walking distance to Disneyland seemed okay.

We decided to get ART tickets for New Years Eve, because our feet would be way too tired to walk back at 2:00 in the morning. We also rode the transit to the park, because...well, why do any extra walking when you don't have to, if you're going to be on your feet all day? 24 hour tickets on ART were $4.00 for an adult, and the hotel is the first stop on the line (there's only about six stops, the transit has several different, short routes). I'd guess that it would've taken us less than ten minutes to walk to the park, but we don't have young children.

We had breakfast at Molly's both mornings (spent almost the whol $50.00, hey free breakfast!). Good food, but not gourmet. Good, friendly, fast service).

The beds were so comfortable, and they looked so comfortable that we had to take pictures of them and post them on Facebook to rub it in the faces of our friends who decided to book "cheaper" hotels.

I will definately stay here again.

Room Tip: If you would like to see the fireworks at Disney, ask for a "view room."
