“A pleasant, comfortable stay.”

I stayed here for 6 nights for an expo at the Anaheim Convention Centre. This is a comfortable hotel, with good beds and facilities. The staff were attentive and helpful (except for the valet on the last day who wouldn't help load my car while it was raining), and check in/check out was fast and efficient. Free wireless and cheap parking also make this a great place to stay.

The location is great Being right across the road from Disneyland, I was able to walk to DownTown Disney in about 5 minutes. There are also plenty of good restaurants nearby - well within walking distance, even if you have children with you.

One thing I have to comment on is the housekeeping staff. I have stayed in some expensive hotels, but I don't recall being so impressed by housekeeping before. Even if we didn't leave the "Please Make Up My Room" sign on the door, we would always return to a spotless room. Towels/soap/shampoo etc were always replenished, beds were wonderfully made and the room looked like we'd never even been there! Like I said, I don't normally notice or care about this, but I had to mention it here.

“Great place to stay near Disneyland”

We found this place to be conviently located very close to Disneyland. The place was clean and the beds are comfy. I would stay here again. The only thing I would say is that I would not a room facing the park and pool area. It was a little noisy (we are early to bed by 8 though but it was quiet after about 10 but it wasn't too bad for noise anyway though it was only early feb). We were on the 8th floor facing the park and had a princess theme room (just a few pitures, wall paper border and blankets nothing spectacular). I also wouldn't bother with the fireworks or the theme room IMO. We waiting unitl about 10 and we still didn't see anything. Once again, we were in bed early every night. We were up at 6 and at the park super early everyday to take advantage of the quiet time at the pak. We were done by 3 or 4 completely beat. I would just get a room off the back parking lot next time and save some money and much quieter. You can get a good AMA/AAA rate. Great place. Loved the store on the 3rd floor.

“Great Disney Hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 February 2012

We recently returned from a wonderful trip to Disneyland. Our party consisted of 2 adults and our 4 year old boy. We arrived Tues. Jan. 31 and departed Sat. Feb.4. We decided to save some money by staying off site, but at a hotel that was a short walk to the park. We also thought we would spend a fair amount of time in the room during the afternoons, while our son took a nap. Therefore, we wanted a hotel room that would be clean, nice and relaxing to hang out in. Well, we ended up staying in the park all day everyday. We are glad we picked Fairfield. The rooms are recently remodeled and very nice, we stayed in a standard room, not a Disney room. If you stay on the park side of the hotel, you would not even know that there is a highway on the other side. It is very quiet. We only heard noise when loud kids walked in front of our room. We will return.

This hotel is directly across the street from Disneyland. The walk from the hotel lobby to the actual entrance of Disneyland or California Adventure is maybe 10 minutes at the most.

There are other hotels closer to the entrance, but Fairfield has a good restaurant assortment and nice rooms. McDonalds is in the adjacent lot, basically the parking lot. Millie’s is located at the entrance to the hotel. Mimi’s is located on the north side of the property. We really enjoyed Mimi’s and ate a large breakfast there every morning. They do have a small Pizza Hut Express and market in the hotel. They stay open a little later than the parks, but I would check on the hours. They closed up at 9pm on our Tuesday.

We took the Disneyland Express from John Wayne and to LAX. People give it great reviews, but I’m not really sure why. It is the most expensive shuttle and unless you are staying at a Disneyland property, you will be making multiple stops at other locations. Disneyland Express only drops you off at the street. The lobby to the Fairfield is a good long city block from the street, so not the best access. I would suggest another shuttle that actually drops you off at the lobby.

“Great place to see Mickey”

Have stayed at this hotel 3 times. Each time was great. The hotel is very near Disneyland. Easily walking distance. You are able to see the nightly fireworks from the hotel. Would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

“Summer Fun But Small Rooms”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 February 2012

This hotel was nice. It was a 10 min walk to Disneyland. The rooms were on the small-ish side. Bathrooms were really small and tawels were rough and thin. The rooms were very clean along with the bathrooms. On a side note, the hotel messed up our reservatio0n which included a wheelchair accessible room.
