I've resided at Hometown Suites in Auburn, AL for the last six months for work. It's a safe and friendly hotel that is well maintained by the most dedicated staff I've every witnessed at a hotel. Here's what I like about the hotel.

1. As a contractor, it's like a home away from home with a full size refrigerator, double sink, and two stove top burners with cooking pots/utensils included. It's nice to be able to cook and the freezer even has an ice maker.

2. The rooms are very clean and everything works (I love the 32" flat screen tv). Once my stove burner stopped working and the maintenance man (who works daily) repaired the stove the same day.

3. I cannot say enough about THE STAFF. The hotel manager 'Carolyn Sadler' has created an atmosphere where providing the utmost in customer satisfaction is the first priority. The staff takes your' visit personal and wants you to have the best lodging experience possible. They will go out of their way to ensure that your stay is perfect.

4. Every Wednesday evening at 5:30 pm the office staff humbles themselves and prepares/serves a meal for all patrons. The food is always excellent and it's a great opportunity to meet new people and fill up on great cuisine.

Due to work I've lodged at various hotels all across the southern U.S.. However, I have never stayed with a hotel that was so well managed, made me feel at home, and went so far to ensure that I was happy.

My only regret is that I'll complete my work here in one month and will have to leave.... only to return to the average and mediocre hotels where large chains have forgotten the true meaning of customer service and hospitality.

Three thumps up for this place!!! Hometown Suites Auburn is an excellent example of how great a hotel can be when it has a fantastic General Manger... "Thank You Carolyn Sadler"... you are the greatest!
