I don't stay in hotels much, so I can't really compare this place to other similar hotels. But I stay here twice a month when I'm in town for classes in Gadsden, and I've always found the rooms to be clean and the staff to be courteous and helpful. Rooms are $39 a night for University of Alabama students - a hard price to beat. I've always requested (and received) non-smoking rooms. There seem to have been some renevations recently and many of the rooms I've stayed in lately have seemed almost brand new. Though a King bed is usually available, I find those to be uncomfortable and usually opt for the two double beds. Recently this hotel became a Days Inn, but little has changed. The breakfast offerings are slightly different now - there are no longer hard-boiled eggs and a couple of other things they had before, but the breakfast rolls are improved. I'm probably getting into too much detail now, so I'll stop! :)
