This boutique hotel is located on a residential street close to Dupont Circle. The weekend we went we managed to snag free parking in the small lot in the back (maybe 20 spots) and then walked everywhere. You get a real feel for what it would be like to live in the neighborhood, and it feels like you are walking back to your apartment after a night out. The Metro isn't too far away, but you are centrally located, so cab fares aren't too bad either.
The room was good, a solid 3.5 stars to me, and the kitchenette could be a bonus for longer stays. The K-cup coffee maker is all we used. There was also a basic breakfast available in the lobby bar, but with so many good options in Dupont, we didn't try it. The beds were memory foam, and very comfortable. If you love softer pillow top beds, the bed will probably seem firm to you. Our room had a modern bathroom, a small changing/makeup area, a full size closet with safe in the entry area, a small bar height dining table along with the kitchenette.
Overall this is a well run property where the owners have done an excellent job of taking an older property and making it feel up to date.

Hi erk42! We really appreciate you taking the time to review our hotel. Your description of our location and rooms will be helpful to other readers looking for a hotel in Dupont Circle. The full service kitchens are a great amenity as you mentioned and we are glad you enjoyed the gourmet Keurig coffee makers and Tempur-Pedic beds. Hope you had a safe trip back to San Fran and we hope you consider us again should you make the trip back to Washington! Warm Regards - MarcAnthony
