Our 2 night stay at the JW Marriott was wonderful. The hotel is in an excellent location, rooms are gorgeous and everything about the property is there to make your life easier while on vacation. There isn't even a wait for the elevator - it's computer programmed to get you to your room ASAP! The restaurants and concierge desk are great too. Would definitely stay again.

This hotel has a primo location with comfortable rooms. It is within easy walking distance of the National Mall. The staff is quick and courteous. The Starbucks and restaurants within the hotel are convenient, especially for breakfast. The only downside is that parking is not guaranteed.

Very classy and clean hotel. Location is near the historical sites. (but then again what DC hotel isn't)
Security and staff is great with a nice grand entrance.

The food options in the hotel are a bit limited with the menu options limited as well but you didn't go to DC to eat in the hotel resturant after all.

If you have the extra money to stay here, do it. But you have many many other options for a little cheaper.
(side note- the elevators are very confusing to use. They don't work the traditional way where you just push your room floor # and go. You get "assigned" and elevator... Strange)

Very nice hotel with emphasis on safety, particularly good for single women like me. Unique elevator operation that limits access to rooms. Service was also very good. Within walking distance to National Mall & monuments but you should definitely wear comfortable shoes if you opt for this. Room service was yummy w/fresh salad & fresh veggies. I would love to go back & stay longer!
