Nice quick walk from McPherson Square metro station and interesting touristic sites like the Occupy tent city in the park (most inhabitants seeming to be hanging at the Starbucks across the street - sense of irony was lost by the Facebook generation somewhere along the way between Seattle APEC 1999 and DC Occupation 2012).
The hotel is pretty nice and rooms were comfy. The elevators are always the place that show the true age of a hotel and this one was no exception. The compliance certificates expired in 2005 (no doubt, the updated ones are kept in the manager's office...) but somehow that fact that nobody notices sich things is a bit disconcerting.
Staff were attentive and friendly on checkin and throughout the stay. Nice breakfast bar and very friendly ladies staffing the restaurant in the morning.
I have no complaints and would recommend to anyone.
