The staff at this Holiday Inn are to be highly commended... they make this Holiday Inn the best I've ever stayed at (and I've stayed at quite a few both in the US and Australia). Upon arrival, we were greeted so warmly and upon producing our Priority Club card, were offered complimentary cocktails in the hotel's bar. A nice touch.

The rooms here are extremely clean and comfortable, and dispite the fact that the hotel is at a very busy intersection, there was no noise from outside to be heard in our room.

The restaurant and bar staff were just great.... always smiling, and they went out of their way to ensure that everything was to our likeing. Excellent service, and the food there was exceptional... it compared favourably to some high class, expensive restaurants I visited.

It's hard to believe that they are able to offer all of this at such a remarkably low price! The value for money is great, yet the standards and service rival the more expensive hotel chains.

Our 3 day stay there ended too soon, but next time I'm back in DC, I will not stay anywhere else but this Holiday Inn. The management are to be congratulated on the high class of service they offer, and the wonderful staff they have chosen. Well done.

Excellent location close to lots of tourist sights, many happening restaurants, easy walk to downtown and excellent transportation nearby. The service was also very good, helpful front desk, valet, concierge. Far above the standards of a typical Holiday Inn, it's on a par with most Marriotts and Hiltons, but at a better price. Definitely recommended for location, comfort, cleanliness, and service.

We stayed in this hotel at the end of November, for 2 nights, and I cannot say enough good things about it, the price we paid was just so cheap-a real steal. The staff couldn't have been more welcoming and accommodating. From the front desk staff to the restaurant staff and the bar staff, everyone was wonderful & so friendly to us. We loved the rooms and found them spacious & spotless and we couldn't believe how comfortable they were, large flat screen tv and choice between firm/soft pillows, no shortage of clean fluffy towels in bathroom.
Its in a brilliant location we spent about 6 hours walking all around the area the first day--we got to the Whitehouse within 10 minutes walking and saw so many sights, the city itself is beautiful and so clean and easy to get around--and only a 10 minute walk to get back and rest.
We had Thanksgiving dinner there and it was one fo the nicest meals I've ever had. Also we loved the breakfast-so much choice--will definitely be back to stay in the future.

Clean, warm rooms. Very helpful staff. Great location, walking distance to White House and Monuments. Only fault was the room service menu was not child friendly at all.
