“Upscale Georgetown Accommodations, well worth the price”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 January 2012

This luxury hotel is conveniently located on M Street in the heart of Georgetown. It was priced about the same as the nearby Ritz, but offered much more including free entrance to the spa and fittness center and complementary coffee in the mornings. I despise being "nickeled and dimed" to death at upscale hotels, and this property did not follow suite. The staff were warm, friendly, and helpful. The room was well appointed, clean and comfortable. We shared our stay, with the Denver Nuggets. There were about 10 of them on our floor. I will have to say they were well mannered and quiet, which has brought a new opinion to me about the NBA. All in all, I would definately stay there again. Next time I would like to try Michael Mina's on property restaurant.

Room Tip: Our room faced the courtyard and was great.

“One of the best hotels in DC”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 December 2011

My family stayed in a suite here for my sister's wedding. I have also used the spa a few times on other occasions. I've never had a bad experience here and that is saying a lot! The suite was spacious for a Georgetown hotel, but we were most impressed with the special details for our kids. The front staff wanted to know the names and ages of our children in advance. We arrived to find a brownie dessert for each child decorated to look like an Ipod with our kids' names on it, kid's travel books on the beds, bubble bath, an elephant head tub spout protector, and 2 child-sized robes! Obviously, our children did not want to leave the room! Our babysitter was impressed by the room service that was wheeled in on a cart. The food was excellent everywhere, even for the wedding reception. The spa is small, but nicely finished. Although I usually go to the Mandarin Oriental in DC for the luxe spa experience in town, I will say that one of the best massages that I've ever had has been at the DC Four Seasons spa.

“Perfection. As usual.”

We find any reason to stay at the Four Seasons Georgetown. From the moment you enter the drive, they have their eye on you and want to do whatever they can to make everything about your visit better. Four Seasons is the gold standard for service in the world and the Georgetown property is at the top of the pack.

“Gets Better each time”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 November 2011

The only negative thing I can say about this visit was that we could only stay for one night. While most Four Seasons are very nice, this one is especially wonderful. The rooms are extremely comfortable and well appointed. We were in one of their suites this time and it was great. Not to say that the "regular" rooms we were in last time weren't really nice too. As nice as the rooms are, even better is the service. This particular hotel has top notch people working at it. In every way, they were superb - valet, bellmen, front desk, concierge, room service, etc. The only thing I was not so crazy about was the restaurant in the hotel. We were just there for one night, so thought we would try it. Otherwise there is no shortage of good restaurants in Washington, DC so that wouldn't be a drawback. And breakfast was fine.
