“overnight with teenagers”

We reserved rooms for the night as was attending a concert of The Wanted at The Rock and Roll Hotel ( a nightclub on H St). The rooms were nicely appointed, clean and requests made. Staff was very friendly from parking attendant to maids. Managers special was nice and breakfast was cooked to order if you chose. Checkout was at 12 which was nice. Was about a 10 minute drive to National Mall, Georgetown Cupcakes on M street, and club. Also is close to Kennedy Center

downside was pricing for self parking ( over $30) but not a surprise for a downtown motel

Room Tip: Always ask for a room higher up and away from the bar if the motel has one so do not get lobby noise...

“We enjoyed our stay”

Traveled to DC with 6 women, yes six... Not one of us had anything negative to say about the hotel, the rate was very good considering we stayed there for NYE weekend.
Staff was very friendly and accomodating. Breakfast was delicious, all the breakfast you can eat, they make your omelette to order and if you dont want to wait for an omellette the buffet offers scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, home fries, all kinds of cereal, do it yourself waffles, juice, soda, coffee. All was very good. On weeknights they offer a happy hour and I beleive you get 1 free drink and some happy hour food, like nachos. The line was too long for me to look so we skipped that.
Location is awesome! 3-4 blocks away Whole foods and Metro station and other little places to eat at, less than 1 block away is a Walgreens, CVS, and a gas station, 15 minute walk from Georgetown, 20-30 min walk to Lincoln Memorial, you cant beat the location with a stick, hug it!
Parking would be the only bad thing I can say about the hotel, it is expensive, however we got lucky and found a spot accross the street for free, tip weekend parking is free, thank you concierge for that great tip.

“Great Hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 January 2012

tayed for a week in October 2011. We had a great time. This hotel is in an excellent location for exploring Washington DC, we walked everywhere (we are from the UK!!) from here and felt safe all the time - short walk to Metro at Foggy Bottom or DuPont circle if you are going a little further.
The staff are great and we always felt welcome, especially by the bar staff and Breakfast chief.
Rooms are a high standard and very clean and spacious, no noise and a very good night’s sleep – beds and pillows were superb quality.
As with all Embassy Suites the breakfast is included and the food here is excellent with a huge variety of items to eat. The French Vanilla coffee was fabulous. It was great to unwind at night with complimentary drinks and snacks, which alternated nightly. We would most definitely have no hesitation in staying here on future visits to DC.

“We were shown the love at this Hotel”

These folks especially Rachel Valentine Recognized my Diamond Status and exceeded our expectation. I was expecting to receive the bums rush based on this downtown tourist location. My experience in the past has been that hotels that receive High tourist business tend to neglect the frequent traveler. Rachel upgraded my room and made me feel like a real Diamond member.

Room Tip: Great place to for a free breakfast get there early. The lines grow quick

“We LOVE this hotel!!!”

We have stayed at this hotel for the last four years. We take a group of young people to attend the annual March For Life in downtown Washington DC. The Embassy Suites has always been extremely accommodating. The rooms are fantastic and the breakfast buffet is outstanding. I recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a wonderful hotel in DC. We will be back again next January!!!
